This is such a clever masculine card. I always have such a hard time making masculine cards but this one was actually fun to make. You could add all types of things to put on top of the car. This one I thought I would make the suitcases look like they were flying through the air. I am actually using this card for a Belated Birthday card. I used Sahara Sand cs with To The Nines Specialty DSP. The DSP will be on sale beginning tomorrow. If you buy 3 packages of DSP you can get the 4th package free. This will be the Special for the Month of May. I used watercolored paper and my aqua painter on the image. I love to watercolor as it is so relaxing. Chocolate Chip card stock borders the watercolor paper and the Happy Birthday image.
Be watching for some GREAT ANNOUNCEMENTS from Stampin' Up! and Sizzix and also becoming a Demonstrator for only $75.00. Wow!

Post It Notes
Here are some Post It Note Folders that I cased from Angie Juda's Blog. She has a video on this project. I used 8 1/2 x 3 3/8 Pink Pirouette cs and folded it in half. I crimped the ends so it is easier to fold. I had also used the Big Shot #1 Texturized Plate before I crimped the cs. I stamped Be Happy from the Darling Dots Level Set using Pretty in Pink and then used the 1 1/4 punch to punch out the image. I punched out a piece of Pink Pirouette using the 1 3/8 punch and used the Scallop Punch to punch out a Whisper White Scallop. I pierced the scallop after I mounted all of the circles with Dimensionals. I added 12 inches of Ribbon. If you stamp your image and it is not clear just take your sanding block and sand the image. It is amazing how much better it looks.
I I used the image Friend from the Level II Stamp Set A Little Something. On this card you can see the ribbon is a little different. I used my Pretty In Pink Stampin' Write Marker and went along both edges of the ribbon. You can also use 2 or 3 different colors on your ribbon.

I added 1/2 package of Post It Notes on the inside by using double sided tape to adhesive it down. A full package makes it to bulky. These would make great hostess gifts, teacher gifts, or for any type of gift. They are so fun, quick, and easy to make. I am going to try some DSP and some different types of Post It Notes. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Matchbox Drawer
I saw some little Matchbox Drawers on Becky Roberts and Gretchen Barron's blogs and I did a little combining of the two. I used a different DSP (Parisian Breeze Specialty) for the front of the drawers and the 2 5/8 x 10 inch piece that went around the 3 boxes. The little piece of DSP on the front is about 1/2 x 1 7/8 inches. I added 6 of the Baja Breeze small Corduroy Buttons. I used the reverse DSP on the middle drawer. The matchboxes are made from Baja Breeze Cardstock. I used Sticky Strip to adhesive the piece of DSP that goes around the box. I also added 22 inches (would probably go 24 inches next time) of the lovely new White Organza Ribbon #114139 on page 179 of the Stamin' Up! Catalog--15 yards for $5.95 so it goes a long ways!
O The tag on the side is also on the Matchbox Die and I stamped "Just a Little Thanks" from the Matchbox Messages that is also in the Occasions Mini catalog on page 17 $25.95. I used Baja Breeze ink and then punched it with the 1 1/4 inch punch. I sponged around the white card stock and the Baja Breeze Tag. Linen Thread was used to attach the tag to the ribbon. You can use these to put chocolates or make some tags and put them in the drawers. I am going to make another one using a different handle on the drawers. The matchboxes were made with the Big Shot and Bigz Dies. Love this machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are still waiting for the foal! So overdue!

This is a little box I made with my Big Shot. I used Green Galore cs for the bottom of the box and Rainbow Sherbert DSP for the top of the box. I made a belly band and then added some dyed white ribbon around the box. I put some Apricot Appeal Reinker in a zip lock bag and added the ribbon. As you can see I added too much reinker as it got too dark. It does take a while for it to dry. For the little brad on the front I smooshed it in Apricot Appeal Craft Ink Spot and then added some Clear Embossing Powder and used my heat gun to dry it. Craft ink really works well on all the silver and white hardware. Thank you for looking and have a great evening.

Good Friend Paper Bag Book
I will be teaching this Good Friend Paper Bag Book class on Wednesday, May 13th from 10:00-11:30 am and 6:00-7:30 pm at my home. You can attend the class for $10.00 or you can pay $30.00 which will include the Good Friend Stamp set and the class. You will go home with a completed Bag Scrapbook. You must register by May 4th so I can order the supplies and have them here in time for class. Your payment will be considered your registration fee. If you are unable to attend this day contact me and we will arrange a time for you to complete the book. This book originated from Candice Anderson. I made this book yesterday and just made a few changes. The pullouts are so cute. Email me for my address if you need it. I would also be glad to send this out as online class if you are unable to attend. Just email me at pegireland@hotmail.com
I have been late posting if at all as have been helping outside in the mornings. Oh, yes, the mud is still here! It is drying up a little each day but it is still so deep in the corrals. We are awaiting the arrival of a little foal so I am on the night shift. I am so thankful it is so nice outside in the middle of the night as I am trudging to the corrals. Now the house to the corral is dry so it is more convenient. I do enjoy the outside work--now if someone would only do the inside work!! Thank you for looking and have a great day!
