valentine card and apron

This is a valentine card we made in our last club using the valentine rub ons and the red glittery paper. We put the tulip frame on the Real Red cardstock and added 2 different DSP's. We punched the heart out with the Large Heart punch and then added a red glitter square behind the cut out heart.
I tried to take a better picture of the full length of the Spring Vintage Apron that I made but now it looks like the top buttons are uneven which they arent. This gives you a little better view of the length. I hope you are having a great day. I got up very early this morning (3 am) and made some doughnuts and now getting my materials ready for the Assisted Living tomorrow! My husband even helped me with the doughnuts-he does like to cook them and cut them out!!!! A great help!

Apron with Stampin' Up! Fabric

This is the apron I just made with Stampin' Up! Fabric. I started out with a pattern and ended up creating my own as I was having difficulty following it. I thought I needed a little extra length so added the small flowered material and the little string of baubles to it.
I made the pockets and then added the flower die and a button and some Baja Breeze narrow ribbon.
The neck was a little large so the pattern suggested to make a small pleat and then add a button which was perfect as we have so many cool buttons. I had so much fun creating with this pattern. It is one size fits all and you could change the colors around to make a completely different pattern. I used the Spring Vintage material and it took packages but I didn't use one section of the blue in the second package. So fun! Hope you have a great day!

Samples of swaps at Leadership

Here are some samples of some swaps that were made at Leadership! The Tulip frame has turned out to be a very popular item. I saw so many cards with this frame on them.

T
The Build A Blossom stamp set and punch is also used on a lot of cards at Leadership. I like the Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake together. This card was made by Laura Thorpe. Lynn Starzl made by nice Early Expresso card with the hearts and again the Tulip Frame.

Leadership Bag

This is the cool bag we got from Leadership when we were in Nashville. I had so many compliments on it when I was out in public. I even had gals come up to me at the Grand Ol' Opery and ask me where I got that bag or they knew I was a Stampin' Up! demo as I had that bag! It is such a fun one! I just got back from leadership last night. I stayed the weekend and Shirley and I went touring Nashville for a few days! Everyone was so friendly and we sure did get to see a lot-Went on several tours and visited the downtown area.
Stampin' Up! also added the billfold that we could purchase in Memento Mall! I roomed with 3 other ladies that I had never met and we had such a great time together. So enjoyed Leadership and all of the classes and activities.

Valentine Bag

We made this Valentine Bag today in Club. So much fun to see the many ideas everyone came up with! You need: 4 x 4 Pretty Pink cs, DSP, and a strip of PPink cs and scraps of Whisper White and Pink. You can get the directions by buying Erin Cerwin's tutorial on the Pink Buckaroo. Erin has some really cute ideas!!! We also used the Tag and Large Heart Punch and some Red Satin Ribbon. It is very cold here tonight! Bundle up nice and warm if you go out as it is below 0. Tooooooooo cold!!!

Sunday, January 9, 2011

We had so much fun making this card or maybe not with the sewing! I took my sewing machine to class and they zig zagged. My picture looks like mine is a little crooked but I think the pink balls are falling a little. I was inspired by Stampin by the Sea blog. I stamped with the Paisley heart and White Craft Ink and then added a large button that I just put some thread through the holes (you dont even need a needle). I used Crumb Cake and Early Espresso card stock. It was so much fun to watch members sew as many have never sewn before and the machine just took off!!! So funny! If I did it again I would bring a lot of extra card stock and let them practice awhile before sewing on the project! Still snowing here off and on--I hope it quits before Tuesday!!!

Last of the Wedding Pictures

I finished the wedding album and it is off to the printer! Yeah! The top photo I changed the color to Sepia on a Background DSP of Lap of Luxury on the MDS. The stamp set I used was Style Beautiful. It was a fun page to put together.
On this page I used Rust background card stock and I used the stamp set "Charming". I matched the borders with the girl's dresses. I hope you have a very Happy Sunday! I am going to hit the stamp room after church services to get my clubs ready for this week. Out comes all of the Valentine stamps and accessories-love this time of the year!!!
