Another Wedding Card

I made this wedding card for the wedding I attended last weekend! The butterflies added to the card.
 I also
used the envelope liner and black card stock for the envelope! Just love the envelope liners. I worked with the envelope maker this afternoon and the file cards--how fun!! Will show you one tomorrow if I get it finished.

wedding card

I
made this card for Caleb and Megan's wedding that was last Saturday. I used the Modern Mosaic embossing folder, Love and Laughter stamp set, Crotchet Trim, and Natural 7/16 Trim along with some copper card stock.
This
is the card with the matching envelope. It is a copper framelit liner but the picture looks kind of gray.

A
picture of the newly weds-Caleb and Megan!
Have a great day! I am going to the Latchstring in Spearfish to have lunch with some retired friends!

Christmas Thinlit Card

Another thinlit card but this time for Christmas! This has got to be my favorite! It took a lot of time but so worth it.
I just wanted to show you different angles so you could see what the card looks like inside and out.

I thought about making this my Christmas card but after making one I now think not.
Materials used:
Label Thinlet
Northern Flurry Embossing Folder
Rhinestones
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, White and Glitter 12 x 12
DSP Winter Frost #132341
New Silver Ribbon #132347
Frosted Finishes Embellishments  #132150
Christmas Messages Stamp Set  #131793 or l31790(wood)
As you can tell I love making these cards!
I hope you have a great Sunday!

Thinlit card with extra flap

This is another example of the thin lit card by using a piece of  card stock that is 5.5 x 8.5. (half sheet of card stock)
Put your thinlit on your magnetic pad and bring the card stock over the top of the thinlit so when you run it through the Big Shot it only scores it and does not cut it off.

Run it through the Big Shot and this is the project you will get-yes, that simple. Now you can add more DSP or write a message and fold it under the other flap.
Enjoy your day! We are headed to an out of town wedding this afternoon. It will be outside so should be fun!!!!

A Halloween Thinlit Card

How cute
are these thinlit cards? I used the label thinlit and added some Halloween DSP to it that is 2 x 5.25. The Pumpkin Pie label is also a thinlit that you will find with your large card thinlits. I added rhinestones and colored them with an orange Sharpie and added some chevron ribbon. I stamped the witch with white craft ink and sponged around the edges! So fun to make!!!

Painters Tape

Happy
Monday morning to you! A great new week has begun!! I made this card with painters tape and idea came from Deb Valdra. I used 3 pieces of tape (the length of the stamp pad) and dabbed it ever so gently (do not get close to edge  or you will get lines of tape)and then peel off and you get the background colors.  I used the stamp set Love and Sympathy (#128652) for this card and the in color stamp pads. I stamped the image with Expresso. You could use any stamp set depending on the occasion. Have a great day!!!

Club Card

I am finally back. We finished all of the barrel racing futurities. We
were excited as they went so well.  It was a lot of work but now so worth it. Enjoyed making a lot of the door prizes for the futurity.
 We made
this card in club class in September!! How much fun are these cards. You can do 2 different thinlit cards. This is one of the cards and the other one is a circle card. I  have so enjoyed making these cards as they are fun and different! These thin lits are not in the catalogs and sell for $32.95 each but one has 8 other thin lits in the package and the other one has 9. The numbers are #133480 for Circle Die and #133479 for this shape. They also work great with the new magnetic platform that is now ready to purchase (#130658) for $39.95. There are a lot of ideas out there so take a look at some websites. This card I used an orange Sharpie to color the rhinestones. I also used the new Witches Brew DSP (#l32185) for the strip that is 2 x 5 1/4. The stamp is stamped with White Craft ink and used the Halloween Hello stamp set (#131721) for $14.95 or wood for $18.95 (#131721)
