More and More Halloween Treats

This is a really simple treat for Halloween. I just put M & M's in the long clear bags, added the Scallop Punch with card stock, and then stamped one of the Batty for You stamps on white card stock!!!

Shirrise made this with 2 of the Die Cut Tags and the Big Shot. She adhesived the tags on the bottom and then added the large round lollipops in the center and added some DSP and a punched bat on the front. On the lollipop stick she glued the 2 scallop punches!! I hope you have a great day! The wind has stopped blowing so I even got to take a walk today!

It is so windy here today a witch wouldn't survive on her broomstick flying!!!! I have a few pictures that my downline brought to our meeting last week. The first picture is a pencil holder that Sarah made.

Sarah also made these from felt. You could use them to add to a hairpiece or just use them for a decoration on a card, box etc.

Shirrise made all of these little containers! So cute for decorations or treats. I will have more to show you tomorrow! Have a great day!

Silk Flower CD

This is another CD case I made with 4 Scalloped Cards inside. I used the flowers and pearls from the Pretties Kit, covered the CD with DSP and used the Big Shot to make the Scallops. You can only fit 4 cards in the CD. I put a piece of ribbon around 4 envelopes and attached it as part of the project.

Covered Christmas Journals

I made 3 Christmas Journals this past week. The top 2 are from Becky Roberts' tutorial with the Jolly Christmas DSP. You can go to her website and buy the instructions.

This journal I designed and it was much easier for me to make without the black band. The black band is really cool but more time consuming! I decorated this with DSP, and then added the Olive Striped 1 1/4 inch wide ribbon. The punches used were the 2 3/8 inch Scallop, Ornament, and the 1 3/4 inch Circle. You have to love the punches!!!!!!!!! Quick, quick!

Snowman Cards

This is a box I made for my snowman cards that I made with Becky Roberts' cards. I just added some DSP on the handle and only made one handle.
On this box I made 2 handles and then attatched 2 of the glimmer brads on each side of the front of the box. I also punched the large Scallop with Cobbler card stock and stamped the snowman on the smaller scallop punch. Was fun to make!

Curved Shape Purse with Cards

A friend of mine gave me this purse shape with some items inside for my birthday this summer so I traced around the purse and then added some DSP. I put 4 cards and envelopes on the inside and then added the silk flower from the Pretties Kit. I used my Aqua Painters and reinker and painted the flower to match the card stock. A rhinestone brad was added to the center of the flower.
We had a great downline meeting today with so many ideas for show and tell. I will try and show you many of these ideas this week on my blog.

Christmas Scallop Card in CD

Last night I made a Stampin' Up! CD Tin (Clearance Rack until Monday, October 18th for 5 for $2.99. I used the Jolly Holiday DSP #117159 ($9.95) for the covering and then added the Scallop Circle #113468 ($19.95) in Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and then used the Scalloop Circle #2 #113469 ($19.95) with Vanilla Card Stock. I punched holes with the 1/16 Circle Punch #101227($8.95) around the scallop edge and then sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink around it. Then I stamped "Peace On Earth" with Cherry Cobbler ink with the Peaceful Season stamp set (Level 2 set that all demonstrators received free at convention). I used Very Vanilla 5/8 inch Ribbon#117291 ($8.95) around the tin.
I made 4 Scallop Cards to put inside the tin with Very Vanilla Ribbon and Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding #120992 ($6.95 in Holiday Mini).

I again used the Big Shot and the large Scallop and put it just a little ways down from the top of the Scallop so I could make a card. Then I made another Scallop and adhesived it onto the Cherry Cobbler card and then added the smaller scallop with Very Vanilla card stock, added holes and the image.

I also added a Very Vanilla Scallop on the inside so you could write a message. I put a piece of Confetti Cream #101856 ($6.50) card stock on the inside top and bottom of the CD. I used the Corner Rounder Punch to finish off the ends. Now I am off to making some more tins--maybe Birthday, Thank You, etc. Watch this week for more ideas!!!

Pheasant Envelope Card

A beautiful day out today! Wow! Last night I was working in the wee hours of the morning making some projects for the Hospital Bazaar-it is amazing how the hours slip away when you are having fun! We had our Stamp Club yesterday and had a beautiful luncheon with Vi who will be leaving us and heading to AZ for the winter--a great snowbird!
Today's card is made with just a business envelope. You cut it at 6 1/2 inches and then run the bottom part through a crimper 3 or 4 times then it will reduce the size and you can put the top part over the bottom section. Shirrise shared this idea with me! We stamped the reeds from Inspired by Nature with Saffron and Pear Stampin Write Markers. I added the pheasant and then spritzed with the Spritzer Tool and Pear Marker and added some Ribbon on the top. Inside the card is a piece of White Card Stock with a Tab Punch on the Top to write a message on. A fun and quick card to make!

CD Tin Calendar and Note Pad

A cool cool day today after the hot days we have been having! I did get my tomatoes all pulled and the rest of the garden cleaned up then spent the rest of the day inside preparing for stamp classes and bazaars. Yesterday I had a birthday party for my dad who was 89 years old! He did enjoy having everyone come in.
I am offering a class or a kit for this CD Tin Calendar and Note Pad that I purchased from Andrea Walford. The Class will be on Wednesday, October 27th at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. I have limited kits so notify me right away if you would like one of these. These would make great gifts for teachers, relatives, etc. Quick and easy to make.

Love Letter Press Scrapbook Page

This is the Scrapbook page we made at club this month. Some of the gals also made Tempting Turquoise pages. We used the Letter Press Love plate with the Big Shot and Craft Ink and Watercolor Paper. You can see a better impression on the top photo. I was also having trouble with my clear plate so I bought a new one and it worked so much better-couldn't believe the difference. Also, after you run it through the Big Shot be sure and pull it straight up so it will not smear!

Greenhouse Gala Purse

I just made another wild purse using the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. I also used So Saffron, Pear and Pumpkin Pie card stock for the cards and accessories on the purse. The larger accessory on the purse is a silk flower that I painted with an aqua painter and Pumpkin Pie reinker. I also added a rhinestone brad in the middle of the flower and 4 brads on the handles of the purse. These are so much fun to make!

Purse for a Gift

I made this purse and 4 cards last night as a lady ordered a bright purse for her friend's birthday this week. They are always so much fun to make with Becky Roberts' patterns. Instead of adding a pocket to the front I used the large circle punch and 2 scallop punches and then added pearls around the scallop. You can click on the picture to get a closer view. I also used the Friend stamp set and the flower stencil to make my 4 cards with Olive and Rose card stock. I am on a roll so be watching for more purses as I am going to be making these for gifts this Christmas season.
We got all of our produce from our garden these last 2 days (which wasn't much) and got all of the tools, etc put away. We have really been having some cold fall mornings this past week. Saturday Lana and I made a quick trip to Spearfish Canyon. It was so beautiful! I forgot to put my memory card in my camera so it didn't work! Have a great Sunday, relax and enjoy!!
