Kami's new house

This is a picture of Kami's fireplace in her new home! This was before the areas rugs and other accessories were down! Nice and cozy!!

A picture of one of the bathrooms! Very nice work!!!

Crosses of Hope

This is a very simple card that I am going to be making with the residents of an Assisted Living next week. I used the Crosses of Hope Stamp set, Elegant Eggplant card stock, ink and ribbon. It is very dark but tried using the Concord Crush and could not see much difference in it. I am always looking for simple card ideas for the assisted living group that I teach at once a month with my good friend, Donna!!!
Hope you are having a great day-just got back from PT and grocery shopping and now watering my lawn and trees as it is so very dry here and we are losing some of our small trees. Then off to a luncheon with Shellie!!!

Easter Card

An Easter Card with a stamp set from the new Spring Catalog-I also used Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse card stock, silver brads and some Designer Series Paper. Today I attended a luncheon for the Childrens Network at the Hospital. They had decorated about 20 tables and we voted on our favorites. This was a very worthy cause and well attended by our Red Hat Group!!!

Another Butterfly Card

A stamper has to love this butterfly stamp! Wow! So much fun to work with! I have been absent for awhile as trying to design my stamp room. I can't believe the time it takes to run and get samples, make a room plan and look at ideas! Hopefully, I am on my way to a new designed room after 17 years. Also, working on my bathrooms trying to get some new countertops in, etc. It all takes so much time! Kami is now in her house and it is absolutely beautiful! We are helping Lana move her furniture, etc tomorrow into their new garage and then hopefully next weekend into their new home. I think they are carpeting Monday so getting ver close to the end! Will be so nice when everyone gets settled again! Hope you  have a great day-I am off to look at some new lights, countertops, and sinks!

She used the scalloped square for the Big Shot, Red Glitter Paper, and the lacey heart is from the Amore Designer Series Paper on the backside of the pink. The ribbon is from Sale-a-bration. The background is the new fabric in the Spring Mini. Hope you are having a great day!

Valentine Heart Card

I made this card using the heart doily from the Artisan Embellishments Kit (#129328). There are 3 little heart imprints on the doily and the Single Stamp Heart just fit in there perfectly. I also used the white ribbon and a stamping dauber and made my ribbon the same color as the hearts (Rose Red). Just dab your dauber in your stamp pad and put it on the ribbon-easy as can be!  I also dry embossed the white background!
Hope you are having a great day!! I am going to deliver cookies and treats today and tomorrow. My house is very empty now as Kami has moved into her new beautiful home so now it is cleaning and rearranging time for me!!!Hope you have a great day!!!

Valentine Treats for Kid's Classrooms

Yes, I did get a little carried away with Valentine Treats! I have 3 offices that I give treats to on the holidays and then some friends. I usually just give treats at Christmas and Halloween but really got into the Valentine Treats this year! Just couldnt stop and used a lot of my retired Designer Series Paper also! One of my favorites was just taking a 2 1/2 inch white circle and stamping the heart stamp that we could get with the Single Stamps.
I also made some Jelly Bellies, Sixlets and M &M's with the long saran tubes and then tied ribbon on the end. I started with 4 or 5 in a tube but sometimes put 10 to 20 in a tube. I need to think of a better way to get the candy in the cellophane tube. I made the little sucker holders from a class that I took from Erica Cerwin (Pink Buckaroos) and also the sour cream holders come from her class.
We were suppose to have a big blizzard today but I don't think it is transpiring so again not much moisture. I helped Kami arrange her living room and her house is really looking awesome! I think this would be a good day to make some valentine sugar cookies!!!! Hope you are having a great day!!!

Sour Cream Valentine Container

What a fun candy holder to make! I have probably made 50 of them as so easy! I used a 5 x 6 piece of Designer Series Paper (this is the Amore Suite) and then put a long piece of red sticky strip on the shorter side and fold like a toilet paper roll. It is much easier to use double sided tape on the bottom, and then add your treat inside, put tape on the top but twist the roll so not straight across from the bottom one and then crimp the top and bottom. You can add your extra accessories. I cased this from a class I took from Erica Cerwin-Great ideas and then you just keep going with new ideas and with what accessories you have.
We have been getting calves in and preparing for the storm that is suppose to hit here tonight. Yesterday we got a fence tore out so cows can get to shelter and helped Kami move. The moving is looking better-she will have such a nice beautiful  home! Hope you have a great day and stay warm!!!

Valentine Flower Card

I cased this card from Inking Idaho and it was such a fun card to make. I used Pool Party (1/2 sheet) and then used the new Honeycomb Embossing Folder (4 x 5 1/4) for the main card. The Designer Series paper is from the Amore Suite and the fabric is 2 1/2 inches x 8. I folded the material in 1/2 lengthwise and used the sticky strip tape across the top and that glued them together. Then I put another lengthwise piece on the top but dont take the top layer off yet but cut tiny strips from the folded edge to the bottom of the tape, take the top layer of the tape off and then roll the material to get your flower.

Leadership and Club

I snapped this picture at Leadership-a cool scrapbook page!
This is some more scrapbook pages from Leadership!

I saw this card on the wall at Leadership and so we made it for club this month. A very easy, quick and cool card to make. I made the strips 1 3/4 wide (one is 2.5 inches long and the other is 2 inches long) from Red Glitter Paper. The hearts were made with the Large Heart Punch and then taking the large heart punch just punch out the bottom of the strip. I just made sure the center of the heart was touching the top of the heart punch. Enjoy the day as it looks like another beautiful one. I had a lot of fun at club last night and have another club tonight so I am sure it will be a busy evening!!!

Hope you had a great day! My day was a little frustrating as I went to town to get some fabric and some Valentine supplies and the traffic was so congested and the lines were so long. I guess it is good for the economy as the Stock Show is in town. Next time I will remember to not go shopping on a Saturday--Monday mornings are much more relaxing!!

Swallowtail Butterfly

These are the pictures I promised you on Thursday but we went to the Dog Trials all afternoon and evening and to the Rodeo Slack in the morning so I didnt get any posting done yesterday!!! The dog trials are always so good to watch and see the great discipline and intelligence in the Border Collies. It takes so much training on the owners part also!
This is the cards made from the new Swallowtail stamp set!! This set is very addictive! I tried something different with the Honeycomb embossing folder but think it would look better if I would cover all of the spots--what do you think?/

You can make these cards so quickly! Just stamp on white card stock and use your daubers to apply the ink!! How easy is that??? Hope you are having a great day!!!
