Autumn Accents

This is a fun fall card that I made with the new Bigz Die #127812 Autumn Accents for $21.95 in the Holiday Mini. I also used the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP #126906 for $10.95 on page 24 of the Holiday Mini. On the leaves I used Expresso, Mustard and Tangerine Tango along with the Naturals Designer Buttons #127754 for $4.95 in the Idea Catalog on page 176.
Beautiful day out today but I have to lock myself in my stamp room and get some classes ready! Last night we attended the Wall of Honor in Martin for my brother-in-law who was an outstanding athlete in the 50's. It was great to review all of the athletic awards that he received at that time and some of the records that he had in football, baseball and track!! He had one football interception record that held until 2010 at Black Hills State. Also, great to see my nephew from Texas who flew in for the event! We had a great dinner and a very relaxing evening!! Hope you are having a great day!

Labor Day Wagon Train

We had a lot of fun over the Labor Day weekend traveling to Colony, Wyoming and going on a Wagon Train Ride. Here Bud and Roxie are pulling home the wagon that didnt make it on the trail.
Another wagon pulled by horses. We rode this one on our way home!

Here are some of the outriders and also bringing home the team that was pulling the wagon. Great food and beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing your ranch, Jim and Roxie and Kari for all of the history on the ranch!! A great day!

3 D Bag

This little 3-D project was given to me from Jayne Ficken, one of my downline demonstrators! So cute and easy to make. You make it from a piece of 12 x 8 1/2 DSP. You can add a card on the side, tea bags, and even a cello sack filled with candy in the middle. A fun treat for a shut in or just a nice treat for a friend! Busy day today as have to meet some deadlines with my MDS projects! Today is the last day for the 31% off on all printing! Just got done watering trees as it is so sad that we havent had any rain, not any for months! Yikes! Have a great day!!

DSP card with Business Envelope

I received this card from my good friends, Donna and Ellen, for my birthday so decided to expand on it for a club project. It is made from DSP (4 x 12) and will fit into a business envelope. You can score the side on 3 1/2 inches or any size and then decorate the front with butterflies and a double bow ribbon.

The inside of the card has a piece of card stock folded in half and is 3 x 3 3/4 and you can write on this part. A fun card!! To make your ribbon just make a bow and then make another fake bow on top and take your brad and wrap the prongs around the ribbon. I used a glue dot to stick it to the DSP.
Worked on books all morning and now trying to play catch up around the house with ironing, etc!!! Had a blast last night at club and will show you some of the projects later in the week!

August club cards

This is one of the cards that we made in club in August! Some of the girls added more and made it into a collage card! We had made this card at the Make and Take at Convention! It has been a long time since I have blogged but hopefully I can get back on schedule. After the Fair was over we had several barrel racing futurities plus the 5-State Barrel Futurity that our family puts on. We just finished it this past weekend and it was a great success and had many many barrel racers come from all over the United States. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as our family did! We still have the month of September filled with barrel racing weekends but we are done putting them on for the year and now on to wedding plans. Our youngest daughter, Lana, is getting married in November so has been a very, very busy summer! Have a great evening and enjoy the fall evenings! I have club tonight so always a fun time!
