Birthday Stamps

I am never going to get my Stamp Room cleaned! This is a picture of Crazy for Cupcakes, Cupcakes Wheel, and Simple Birthday Thanks stamp sets. Note how all of the new stamp sets are pre-cut! This is such a time saver! I will be making a project in the next couple of days with these sets--cute cards and invitations!

New DSP

Yes, I am still here! Wow! I haven't posted for so long! I have been helping my girls move! What a job! I just want to come home and start pitching. We got everything to storage and just have a room left to vacumn. I also spent a lot of time at the Fair last week so that also occupied a lot of my time. Today I took my Dad out for lunch and shopping and we had a nice day! I stopped into a local store today and while standing in line I had to hold words to myself. Ladies were buying designer paper and of course not the quality of ours at Stampin' Up! I just wanted to say something but kept quiet and changed lanes. Oh, my gosh it was even only designed on one side. This is the new Washington Apple DSP. It is so awesome.
This is a picture of the Haiku DSP. They are so gorgeous! Which one am I going to try first?

Futurity Results Board

Oh, my gosh! This Big Shot is just wayyyyyy to much fun! This Results Board is for the 5 States Barrel Futurity in September that Lana is putting on. I made pendants with the exclusive Stampin' Up! die cuts in red card stock and then made the small pendants from black card stock. I also added the silver scallops that were cut from the Big Shot with small red stars punched from our small punch in the center. The letters are made from chip board and then I added the Red Chunky Glue. The Silver Stars were punched from the Large Star Punch and then Silver Chunky Glitter was added. These pendants would be great for teacher's bulletin boards or any type of pendant decoration for your house. So much fun to make!

Futurity Baskets

I spent the day today making baskets for the 5-State Futurity. I just love making the baskets for drawings. I made some cards to add to the candles, jelly, etc for door prizes. It is amazing how you can add a little DSP, scallops and brads to a candle to spruce it up a little. I got 9 baskets done so will keep working on them tomorrow before I go to work at the Fair. I plan to experiment tomorrow with the Big Shot while watching the building at the Fair.

A mother-daughter team bringing in cards-the Sowards! What fun they must have stamping! They brought us in a lot of entries!!!
Cassandra working so hard on her coloring while waiting for entries to arrive!
Here I am making a list of Sponsors! We had so many wonderful gifts from our sponsors-gift certificates, basket of goodies, stamp sets, stamp pads, ribbon, stamp books, designer paper and free classes! Wow! The sponsors were so generous!
Our judges! What a great group of kids! Just joking but they are the best helpers you could ever ask for! These farm kids really know how to work! Jade, Caden, Jocelyn, Paige, Justine, and Cassandra!
This is Justine prepared to put the cards on the wire stands! She is a busy little girl! We could not have done it without them!

Halloween Bag

I forgot to post yesterday so decided to do a couple of them today!Isn't this awesome! A lot ow work! This is made from the new Halloween DSP and the skull stamp set. It also uses the Big Brads and the striped ribbon. I am sure this is one of the sacks that could be used again and again. This sack was from convention.

All In the Family

We had a fun time at Stamp Club last night with this page. Everyone was being so creative! The background is Ballet Blue and a white strip of paper was added at the bottom with a thin strip of red card stock adhesived below the white. Red Grosgrain ribbon was added across the top of the white paper. We used colored pencils to color the kids and then used blender pens.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of my club members for being so great! I purchased a Cherry Lip Gloss for each of them at Convention with the SU logo on it! Fun! I so enjoy them and their enthusiasm to learn!

More Element Decor

This Element Decor comes in two sizes and also two colors-chocolate and white. If you do not like to put these vinyls on your wall you can also put them in a shadow box or on a picture frame.

This is a room that has a lot of silver! Wow! How elegant! Even the file folders are covered with Designer Series Papers. You can also see an Element Decor on the back of the chair. If you click on the picture you can see items closer.

More Big Shot Ideas

Quick and easy sacks to make for Christmas!

The next two pictures are pictures of a baby shower that was planned for Shelli's daughter. The cake is made from diapers, the apron hanging on the dresser was made from material with the pendant die. Across the front of the dresser is also some pendants made from the Big Shot.

If you look closely on the dresser you can see some of new large Pink Ribbon that was gathered and then the little blinky was put on the end. Many items on the dresser were all homemade.

Birthday Party-Santa

This is a picture of a reindeer and Santa all made from the new Big Shot. They used the pendant die and the scallops. So Cute!!!

This is a birthday party that Shelli was making for her grandson. I see a piece of ribbon cut off the pendants in the front of the table and on the table are some masks that each of the children get when they arrive at the party made from the pendants. Oh, the frog mask was so cute. Also, you will see a cake made from cardstock and die cuts. She also made all of the invitaitons and thank yous! Too cute!!!!

Big Shot Pictures

The Stampin' Up! Big Shot! It can be used with at least 50 different materials as card stock, balsa wood, fabric, anything that can be cut with the Rubber Scissors we have. Teachers, this would be great for your classrooms. I know your schools always have so much money (ha!) but it would be nice for the school or for a pod to make bulletin boards, parties, etc. It will be on sale to customers on September 2nd and I will be offering a deal. You can also use any dies that you have with any previous machines and there is a large variety of dies that will be coming.

This is some of the dies but they are not real clear. They sell from 4.95 to 39.95 with the Serif Alphabet selling for 149.95. You may have friends that do not stamp but would still enjoy using the Big Shot. It is great for cutting out material for quilts also.

Big Shot

I will try and get a picture of the Big Shot and some of the accessories for tomorrow's blog. This machine is unbelievable! You may purchase it in September!!! There are over 50 materials that you can cut with it--sandpaper, DSP, light weight steel, balsa wood, canvas, materials (to make quilts), felt, quilt batting, vinyl, silicone, bubble wrap, etc. It is going to be a great machine for our stamping and scrapbooking. SU has many of their own exclusive dies. It is so awesome!!!
This is a picture of some of the new Element Decors that will be coming out soon! Not just chocolate and white but now we will be getting color. This would be so cute in a baby's room. These vinyls will all be out sometime this fall. We have not seen the prices yet.

How cute in a little girl's room or in a classroom.

A neat Christmas decoration for the wall or window.

More Convention

My sister and nephew came from Pinedale, Wyoming and spent 3 nights with us. Here we are up in Park City enjoying the evening. It was so nice to have a car so we could go sight seeing. We did tour the city and see the Capitol, the Mormon Tabernacle, and beautiful homes and mountains.

6,000 plus ladies waiting to get into the final session on Saturday afternoon. What a riot!!!

The Salt Lake Palace where all of the classes and make and takes were.

This is a picture of all of the fireworks and streamers when SU announced that UPS had brought every attendee a FREE stamping set. UPS donated a $17.95 McDonald stamping set to each of us. The UPS drove their truck inside the building and many, many UPS drivers appeared giving us each a set. SU does donate $100,000 to Ronald McDonald houses each year plus $2.00 from each stamp set sold. This automatically gave them an additional $125,000. What a blessing!!!
