Busy Time

Remember there is just 6 days left to take advantage of the $85.00 Special to join Stampin' Up! We would love to have you on our great TEAM!!! Yesterday my phone service and internet was out as someone cut a cable so it was very quiet around our place. I did enjoy a Breakfast with some former teachers and a very good friend of mine that just turned 90 years old. She is an amazing lady-still drives and mows her own lawn! You would never guess that she is past 70. I demonstrated a Christmas Tile at the Fair and had a great crowd! Wow! It was overwhelming-a great group with lots of questions and all of my projects went well. Then of course we had to go to the Blake Shelton Concert last night which was fantastic! Today I will be demonstrating Punch Cards and Boxes, Bags and Gifts at the Fair. Come on out and make your own Make and Take Punch Art Animals and see some ideas to make cards. Have a great day!!!!

Princess Kit

This Princess Kit is so neat! It is on display at the Fair along with the Pirate Birthday Kit! There is enough items in the Kit for a party of 8--invitations, purses for each attendee to make, crowns, cupcake decorations, and banners. This kit sells for only $15.95. If you get a chance go out to the Central States Fair and see all the beautiful cards that stampers have made. You can also see many display boards that the demonstrators have made. We were in Broken Bow over the weekend for a barrel racing futurity and so now I have to get busy preparing my demonstrations for the Fair. Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:00 I am going to demonstrate some different techniques. I will be demonstrating the vinyl on the wall only I will be showing vinyl on a jar and I will also be demonstrating a technique with Christmas tiles that I hope to have a class on in September. Tiles are really fun to make. I will also be demonstrating stamping on Tiles. If you get a chance come and join me at 5:00. On Tuesday Jamie will be demonstrating using the Big Shot to make Pillow Decorations and making Greeting Cards. Sarah will be demonstrating the Big Shot and making Post-It-Notes. Today at 2:00 Cheryl will demonstrate Roll-o-dex cards and Becky will be demonstrating the Big Shot at 5:30. On Wednesday at 4:00 I will be making Punch Cards and showing many that we have made and at 6:00 I will be demonstrating boxes, bags, and gifts. Come and watch us and do some make and takes at some of the classes.

Baseball Punch Card

This is a Baseball Punch Card that we made in our last Punch Class. It was CASED from Heather but I did change the colors to Brilliant Blue and Real Red. The Baseballs are made from the 1 3/4 circle punch. You can 6 Whisper White, 6 Real Red, and 6 Brilliant Blue circles. If you cut off the ends of the BB and RR circles you can get the curve on the balls. I added the White Gel pen to make it look like stitching. It is trying to rain out today so it is getting a little damp out. I am headed out to the Assisted Living to help some residents make 2 greeting cards. Have a great day!!!

This is a cute box that you can fill with candy, treats, etc. I hope you have a nice evening-it is beginning to feel like fall!

More Convention-2

More ideas from Convention--This would make a great gift using the Build A Bear Die, a canvas bag and some material for the clothing for the Bear. Add a little Wonder Under and you can iron on a beautiful applique!
This is also a cute gift! Just use the Bear die and some old fabric scraps!

This is the Stampin' Up! Bear that all the Convention attendees could buy! Note his foot and the little stamp he is carrying. On Saturday they had a free for all but I barely snatched one more bear. Crazy!

Here are some samples of some more bears that were on display! Their displays were just beautiful!
Shirrise and I were able to get a picture with the Bear early after lunch! Thankful that Shirrise was on the ball to find him (her)! Build a Bear was a Big Hit at Convention as had so many displays and we could all build a bear!
