This is a scrapbook page that was at Leadership along with a few cards.

A beautiful frame with a flower from the new punch and gathered DSP.

We just had to ride to the top of the Needle and see what was up there and of course try out their margaritas. What fun!

After we got done with the tour we went to a 4-D Movie! We laughed so hard! Not so much when a snake came at me with his fangs! It would spray us and our seats would rock--A Blast!!! Have a great evening!

San Antonio

Finally, I figured out how to get my pictures from my iPad to my computer. I have a bunch of pictures to share but waited until I took my first class last night on my iPad. It is a great class and I learned a bunch. Too bad I didnt know about the maps before I left. It could've saved us a lot of time but then again we wouldnt have met more people.

We took a walk to visit the Alamo the first day and also saw other old buildings.

This is the bag and Notebook Organizer that we received when we checked in. The tag is personally signed by Shellie and the bag was created by an employee of Stampin' Up! Check out the Sneak Peek fabric. You can also turn the bag inside out for a different look. SU is so generous--Unbelievable!!! I will be sharing random pictures of cards that demos made for card contests! We have been off and running to the Stock Show that is in Rapid City for the next 2 weeks. We have a horse that we entered in the Quarter Horse Show (a new challenge for us) that we are trying to get some points on in the team roping. Between the 2 arenas there is a lot of activity going on. We have been lucky that the weather is holding! Remember, yesterday started Sale-a-bration and if you buy $50 of merchandise you get a free stamp set or accessories from SU. Also, a lot of gifts for a $400 workshop. Have a great day!!!

One change is a 30 day trial with My Digital Studio and I will teach you how to use it. They also announced the Regionals in February in AZ and Ohio and Wisconsin in March. If you want a lot of details go to the Stampin' Up! website as I dont always have access to the internet. Hope you are having a great day!!!

Twitterpated

This was a fun card to make with Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red. The DSP is Twitterpated from the Occasions Mini Catalog and also the pleated ribbon comes from the mini! Blossom Punch is the punch used with the Petite Pairs stamp set along with the Twitterpated Buttons. The strips are cut in 1 inch wide pieces.
We got snow today and it is getting colder. It was at 11 degrees but the temp is going down. I am headed out to warmer country (I hope) tomorrow at Leadership in San Antonio. It is always so much fun and get to meet lots of old friends and meet new ones. Have a great evening!

Beautiful Season

This is another card made by my downline, Jennifer, using the stamp set Beautiful Season that she had for one of her club projects! This stamp set is in the main Idea Catalog.
The weather has been turning to wind and cold--not fun but I did get some bookwork done for taxes as had to be indoors. I was kind of sweating it last night as I was in the middle of bookwork on the computer and the electricity went out but I didnt lose anything! Have a great evening!

Snowman Scrapbook page

I love, love this scrapbook page and I cased it from Stampin' Connection but went back to give the creator credit and cant find it. Let me know if it is your creation. We made this in club last night and the ladies liked it also.

12 x 3 Very Vanilla (snow)
6 inch circle Very Vanilla cut with Circle Cutter
Scraps of Black and Pumpkin Pie for Nose, Mouth and Eyes

My Digital Studio

If you have bought the My Digital Studio Program again, be sure and go to www.mydigitalstudio.net and update your computer to 1.0.8 and you will get several new downloads for your program. I tell customers when they buy the program but sometimes they don't remember to download them and can't figure out why they dont have what I have when we have class. Which I understand as there is so much to remember so I am reminding you again to do the update.
We had class tonight and there were some questions so trying to answer them so more people can take advantage of this great program.
Also, your demonstrator gets credit when you buy a download and also when you send a project in to get printed.
Another little tip I have is that every week Stampin' Up! comes out with the downloads I run a copy and then keep them in a notebook in order as they are already by date! Be sure and mark what you have everytime you buy a download as when you buy as many downloads as I have you need a record of what you have bought.
I hope these little tips will help you. The technology department at Stampin' Up! is fantastic and always willing to help.

Book About Me

This is a 6 x 6 Photo Book I made about myself and gave one to each of my daughter's for Christmas. I used a 12 x 12 page on MDS and divided it into 4 parts. I did one part at a time with background paper, embellishment, pictures, etc. The photo book is a linen 6 x 6.

I had 36 total pages in the book when completed. I listed places where I lived and then put a picture of the house that I grew up on which was on a farm. I also put our wedding picture in there with the information and a cute picture of the girls.

Christmas was always and still is a very big holiday at our house. I have a page showing my Christmas when I was small and then our Christmas tree that we have today! I also added my favorite colors, favorite pets, places where I have traveled, family vacation (1), a picture of both of my grandparents and parents, brothers and sisters (now and when we were smaller), etc. It was a great book to make and now my girls would like one of their dad!! Really enjoyed making it on the MDS.

In the center I put the Labels Collection #125598 from the Occasions Mini Catalog and cut it from Riding Hood Red cs. The DSP is Twitterpated #125406 from the new Occasions Mini and the small label is from Whisper White. I added a saying from Petite Pairs stamp set for sympathy. I also embossed the front of the card and added some white ribbon! Have a great evening!

Take it to Heart

Yes, it is me and I am finally back! I took a break from blogging over the holidays and now I am ready to go again with the new Occasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Catalog. So many wonderful, new accessories and stamp sets! Wow!
I made a lot of gifts for Christmas for my downline, club members and family and friends so now it is time to play again. This year I made all 110 Christmas cards, 3 calendars, 25 cozies out of our Stampin' Up! fabric, and many CD chocolate and coffee gifts, 13 swatchbooks, cards, and 2 photo albums which was a book about ME for my girls. Now they want one about their dad! I will post some of these ideas as the week goes along. One of my goals for the year is to post at least 5 times a week so here goes #1.
I just love the new framelits from the new Mini catalog. The ribbon along the side is Pool Party and then I added some fine narrow ribbon from the SAB catalog. I daubed too close on the beak with my aqua marker but it will work!

Materials:
Calypso Coral 1/2 sheet
Watercolor paper
Framelits Dies Hearts Collection
Edgelits Dies-Adorning Accents
Take it to Heart stamp set
Pool Party 3/8 Ruffled Ribbon
Calypso Coral fine ribbon (Free in SAB catalog with $50 order)
Aqua Painters
Ink Pads: Calypso Coral, Limeade, Crumb Cake
Large Pearls 125577
DSP (SAB catalog)
Finale Press Embossing Folder

I hope you had a great New Years Day! I got all of my Christmas down and put away in my house--so sad and the house looks so bare again! Have a great week!
