Project Life Cards

We had a fantastic 2 nights of stamping at my house for the Club Appreciation Nights. We had a taco/fajita lunch with fruit and had a great time then we played a few games for prizes.
One of the nice projects we did is that everyone could create a card using Project Life Cards. They chose their own color of base card, used a Project Life Card and then could use any choice of my ribbon, punches, dots, scrap paper etc. I showed them 2 cards that I had made and they took off from there. What fun!!!! They found themselves to be very creative. The club members could not believe what you could do with the Project cards as there are 100 cards in each box!!! They added stamps also.

Ellie Ann

Our

new little granddaughter, Ellie Ann! Just love her to pieces! She has been such a blessing in our lives. I gave her this dress and then of course I had to make a headband to match.  I actually have pulled out my sewing machine and made her a sundress and got some material to make more. So fun!!

fun card we made in club this month. I cased it from a stamper and would like to give credit to her but cant remember whose site it was. We used Blendabilities and also colored the large rhinestone.

made this Easter card for her club. The tulips are made out of the owl punch. Clever idea!!!

Everything is still going well on the home front!! Yesterday was bitter cold but today seems to be better. I am going to the Assisted Living today with Julie to make 2 cards with the residents and then off to a luncheon with my retired friends. Have a great day!!!!

Embossing Folder Card

This is a Happy Birthday Card we made in club this month.

First of all you will take your ink pad and cover the top inside of the embossing folder.

Add your card stock on the inky part and close the folder.

Run the

folder through the Big Shot and you will come out with this beautiful design. A very fun and beautiful technique to work with.

Scalloped Punch Card

 These little

cards are all over the internet but I got the directions from Tami White . They look difficult but very easy to make. We made these in our club this month.

1. Fold 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 card stock in half but do not crease

2.  Cut edge in scalloped punch

3. Cut off top and bottom from scallop to edge on both scallops with scissors or a cutter.

4. Score on 4 1/4 inches fold and then score opposite tag.

5. Add Designer Series Paper and embellishments.

Sea Salt Card

Hi, I am back again

I don't know where the days go but I am obviously way behind. I spent some time last week up at my daughters helping her as she is expecting our first grandchild plus the snow that we have had. I just finished my last physical therapy classes yesterday! I am walking everyday and feel so much better. We have been trying to have club for the last 2 weeks due to the weather and we finally got them in the last 2 days! I got this idea for this card from Patty Benett. It was a fun technique to do.

Wet water color paper using an Aqua Pen

Drop several drops of reinker on wet paper. I used Costal Cabana and Pistachio

Use you aqua painter to spread out reinker

Drop Sea Salt randomly onto wet areas. Let dry.

When dry, wipe off salt.

Emboss with Ampersand embossing folder.

Sand the raised edges of the Ampersand.

Finish adding the embellishments.

 

A Bowl of Cherries

 This is

a card I got from my down line, Cassie, when I was recuperating from my knee replacement! How cute is that. The stamps used are Giggle Greetings #130165 (clear) or #13162 (wood), and Gorgeous Grunge #130514 (wood) or 130517 (clear).

I am getting near the end of my PT. It feels so good when you get done but boy is it a workout!! I see the Dr. on Tuesday so will also be done with appointments for awhile.  Hope you have a great weekend!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

 Here is as

close as I can get for a green card today!! Happy St. Patricks Day!!!! I had a huge workshop yesterday for Mary Joy so have been swamped with that and my knee exercises. It has been crazy but fun!! I met so many new lovely ladies at my workshop yesterday. Also, congratulations to Christie for joining our team!!! How fun!!! She is going to have a great group going for her!! This idea was cased after one of Shelle's cards. You could add any sentiment on it.

Marker Card

to make with a family of markers. My club members got very creative with the lines on this card. This would also be a great card for kids to make.

Tag Card

 A fun card we

made at the March Club using the scalloped tag punch and honeycomb embossing folder. Love the "psst" from Happy Watercolor stamp set and the watermark on the flower from that same set.

A beautiful day today in the 70's but suppose to get snow again on Monday--Have a great day!

 

Happy Birthday

This was a very fun and quick card to make with the See Ya Later stamp set. I also used the cording and the Sweet Sorbet  from the SAB catalog that is FREE. So all of the items on this card are free until March 31st with the SAB except for the Pool Party card stock. How cool is that!

There is not much going on in my life right now except for physical therapy and exercising to strengthen my knee. Yesterday I did a little quilting and last night I got into my stamp room and made a bunch of birthday cards. That was the first day I have felt like stamping in awhile. 5 finger card

  The outside and inside of a 5 finger card. I got the idea from

http://stampladee.com/. It was a fun card to make but one did have to listen and follow directions carefully. The heart was made from a thinlit and also the "love". The inside hearts were made with punches. Of course, I used some red glitter paper, white ink, window sheets and more punches.

It is really snowing here again and is minus 6 degrees! Will winter ever end!I have been working on a baby quilt. I got all of the pieces cut out and now on to sewing the pieces together. It has been a fun adventure! I will post it when I get it done!!! Hope you have a great weekend! I know our weekend will be spent inside again!!!!

Valentine's Card

This is another

card that we made in January club using Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake card stock with several layers.

Today I worked on my March clubs and a workshop for Kathy. I got all of the samples done and also all the paper cut. We watched the All American in Texas today! Wow! All of those cowboys and cowgirls are going for 1 million dollars. The finalists have been picked and now for the shoot out next weekend in Dallas. Wow!!! We actually know some of the contestants so that makes it even more fun!!!!  Have a great evening!!

Love Ya

 I know

Valentine's Day has passed but you could actually send this card out any day of the year!!! I embossed the black card stock, punched out a heart from the red glitter paper, added the thin lit Love Ya and added some ribbon. How easy is this card.

I hope  I am finally back for awhile! I just had my right knee replaced so it has been a long ordeal anyway I think it has been. I am now walking with out a cane or walker, have my stitches out and ready to drive again. Hopefully, this week I can take over the car again! It has been so windy and cold outside so hard to get out and walk. I did clean a horse pen yesterday so that helped a little. My husband, girls and friends have been a great help and always wanting to help. I try to do as much as possible by myself. Hopefully, I will be able to get back into stamping soon. It is hard as you are standing and in one place. I have a workshop coming up this week and my clubs in 2 weeks so that will keep me going which is good! I hope you have a great day!!!

It has been so cold here as it is all over the US. We were -14 yesterday with out the wind chill and everything was shut down so I spent the day doing bookwork-taxes for 2013. I got 2 sets done and now just have to finish stamping today. My goal is to get them all done before leaving for Leadership on Wednesday-bright and early! So looking forward to getting to someplace a little warmer although I heard it is raining in Houston. Have a great day!

Gold is In

if you can see the second layer on this card but it says Happy Anniversary in gold embossing on a piece of gold card stock. I have a layer of gold card stock and then a white card adhesive onto the gold. I added 6 strips of the new gold Washi tape and then the label with Happy Anniversary embossed on it. My next layer is the new gold hearts on vellum that will be available to order tomorrow in the new Occasions Mini catalog.

Cutest Baby

 A fun

and easy baby card to make. I used the new DSP and

the fun stamp set "Label Love" in the main catalog. Also, it has a punch to cut out the saying. How cool!!! Hope you are enjoying this cold weather. We should be getting used to it.
