Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to everyone!! It should be a fun and safe day for everyone! I hope to get a few trick and treaters--treats are all ready!!! This project could be an envelope for a card or just a card the way it is. I used the new bags and added some licorice and a pocket on the front. Note the chevron ribbon as it is on sale today for the Thursday special!!! Happy Halloween!!!

Offices for Halloween

 I had so much fun making treats for Kami, Lana and Levi's offices. These were some of the treats I made.

 The weather has been kind of wintery today so ready for some sunshine. I made treats for my kids' offices today and will deliver them tomorrow.  I love making Halloween and Christmas treats. We got our tickets to Leadership yesterday so hopefully will be on our way in January. I am headed down to unpack all of my gear from yesterday's bazaar!! Have a great evening.

Everyday Occasions Box

Had a great day today at the Hospital Bazaar! Wow~I got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time plus met many new people. I sold lots of my coffee and candy cups plus other items!!!! A great day!!!

 

 

Donna Card

This is a beautiful card that I got from my good friend, Donna!! It is gorgeous! Sounds like we may be getting more snow for the next 2 days!! We really haven't had much of a fall. I plan to set up for the Hospital Bazaar tonight as the Bazaar is Monday, from 7:30-4:30 so will be a long day. I am going to take some of my club cards and Christmas cards along and work on them.

Halloween Treats

I made these deviled egg monsters for our down line meeting. I just used deviled eggs and then added red and green pepper for ears, whiskers, etc.

 I put

candy eyeballs on these cream puffs with some frosting. I also made a bunch for our neighborhood get together breakfast today. Very easy!!! Found a bunch of eyes in Michaels today!!! I even got a bunch of Christmas shopping done today. I went in the store to buy some goggles for a Halloween costume and came out with a lot of Christmas gifts--wow! I sure got a lot done!!!

Spent the rest of the day cleaning pickups and cars and rearranging my cupboards. Then I helped my husband haul away more branches. The trees are so sad!!!  Have a great evening!!!

 

 

Washi tape

Just a fun activity to do with Washi Tape! I just put the Washi tape on a diagonal on a piece of White Card Stock. You could use this for a background or you could also use the punch and cut out all different kinds of shapes.
Already a busy morning! Helped my girls take off to their last Futurity this year! Always so many last minute things to do when traveling with horses!
I actually got my kitchen cupboards all cleaned off! Wow! It looks so nice not to have clutter!!! Now to head to my stamp room for a few minutes and get that room snuffed up a little! I just love working down there. Yesterday Julie, Donna and I did 2 projects at the Assisted Living. We had 10 ladies so it really kept us hopping!! Fun hour!!! Hope you have a great day!!!!

This is the Simply Sent Halloween kit that is fun to make. It is hanging on my wall in my wonderful craft room. Have a great day today! I am going to make my way through this house with lots of cleaning--not a fun job but rewarding when done! I did get a lot of stamping in this weekend!!!

Witch card

A cute little card we made in card club. It is a 1/2 sheet of card stock, fold in half and then fold the top portion about 1 1/2 inches down. I added some Crushed Curry  ribbon under the flap to hold the card together and make a little pocket. I also put a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 piece of white cardstock adhesive to black card stock and added a little "Halloween Hello" on the top. I added layers with the witch stamp and then some ribbon. You could even add a picture in the pocket.  Hope you have a great day!!! 

thank you boxes

 I made some thank you 3 x 3 cards with matching envelopes and put them in one of our decorative boxes.

These boxes were made with the new In Colors. The bow was made with the new bow die for the Big Shot. The bows go together very quickly. I hope you are enjoying your day!!!! One minute it is blizzarding and the next minute it is clear!!!

The wives take turns fixing supper for this great organization. It sure has my house smelling good!!! They are always so appreciative of their meals but they do so much for the community!!!

Coffee Cups

 How cute are these with a packet of coffee inside??? I got this idea from Deb Valder.

I have a few more of these to make and now trying some birthday, Christmas, and just fun ones!!!! I have added a coffee packet to each one. I will also have these at the Regional Hospital Bazaar. Candy Treat Cups

What have I been doing since the storms hit? I have got about 65 made now for the Hospital Bazaar and for Halloween! A great way to use a lot of scraps but it is very time consuming!

 This shows the tops of the cups for Halloween. You can make these for all seasons.

This is a single cup that I decorated with rhinestones, card stock, and DSP and then filled with hard candy and chocolates. Tomorrow I will show you the coffee cups I made with coffee packets inside. I will be having these cups at the Regional Hospital Bazaar on Monday, October 28th. Come and enjoy the fun!!!! I hope you are having a great day! We have had 5 inches of moisture in the last few days which is about 1/3 of what we get all year. There is water everywhere, down powered lines, rivers running at their banks, branches of trees everywhere, flooding and of course the huge cattle, sheep and horse loss. It has been very devastating for many farmers, ranchers and families.

Toil and Trouble

Another cute little Halloween treat!! I stamped Toil and Trouble (wood-131724 or clear  131727) with Black Staz On onto a piece of Wistera Wonder card stock and then cut it out with the Apothecary Framelit Die, punched a hole at the top and put some Pumpkin Pie Chevron ribbon in it. The last thing I added a Butterfinger. So quick and easy and great table decorations. I hope you have a great day today. Just finished baking a cake as the Lions Club is having a free Roast Beef Supper tonight for all the area farmers and ranchers. My husband is a member of this wonderful organization!!!!

Blizzard

 Sorry, I have been gone a long time as we just went through a very tough blizzard in South Dakota! These are some of our trees that are left. We were without electricity for 6 days which was very minor compared to the livestock loss we went through.

The front of our house which was completely blocked out with the snow and 70 mph winds for only about 26 hours.

This is my husband in front of one of the drifts in the corrals. Many of our pipe fences are damaged. Today we had a lot of rain and now everything is flooding. We lost a lot of our cow herd and 6 horses. I have heard the loss up to to hundreds of cows on one ranch. The good thing is is that it did not get really cold. We used our bbq and camping stove for cooking, had a generator, old lamps, and had connected to city water a few years ago so always had running water. You can see many pictures of the actual blizzard and damage on facebook. I have never seen such a cattle loss in my lifetime-thousands of cattle are gone! We just need a few nice days so we can get cleaned up!

Garden Card

Jayne, my down line made this cute punch card! How creative!!!

We are getting snow and rain. We got an inch of rain during the night and now it is blowing snow. Where else in the world could it thunder and lightning and then snow appears. It sounds like a great day for stamping.

A fun quick Halloween card. It just has layers of black, pumpkin pie and white card stock. I stamped bats on the white card stock from the Halloween Hello (#131718 -wood or 131721- clear) in the Holiday Catalog. The punch is Label Bracket Punch #132153 and Tags 4 You which you can buy in a bundle and save 15%.

It is determined to turn winter-starting to rain and will turn to snow and wind for tomorrow! Yikes! Not ready for winter yet!!!
