Flower Garden Experts

OK all of you garden experts out there do you think this is a weed or a flower? I threw some flower seed in the flower bed this spring and not sure if this is part of the flowers or these are weeds. My flower bed is full of them. I went on internet looking tonight and was wondering if it is Sleeping Hibiscus? Does anyone know if it is a weed or a flower and if it is a flower what is the name of it?

Little Varmits

My husband and I went for a ride in the Ranger tonight and look what is invading our hay--

and cedar trees!
Those pesky little grasshoppers are everywhere!!! Tomorrow the 2nd cutting of hay goes down hopefully before they can get it all!
