Valentine Scrapbook Page

This is the scrapbook page we will be making in Club for the month of February. I used the Pink Pirouette card stock (12 x 12) and then added some Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa card stock. The stamp set is Love You Much which will be in the new Spring Idea Book. I also used the Scallop Edge Punch along the top and then used the excess of the DSP to make the line across the bottom. The little love birds were stamped on the bottom of the page. Tomorrow, Sunday, February 1st starts Sale-a-bration!!! I have been busily cleaning out closets and my stamping materials. A lady at the Rehab hospital is doing crafts with the Rehab patients so I am donating some of my retired materials to her to use with the patients.

Birthday Stamp-A-Stack

We had such a great time yesterday at the Birthday Stamp-A-Stack! Again, we spent so much time laughing that it took us quite awhile to make the cards.

This card was made witht the Butterfly set and was fun to make as you could alter the different DSP around.

After everyone left I made up all of the rest of the cards-22 of them, ladies after stamping with you all day! If I don't use the cs right away it seems to get lost in the shuffle. I changed some of the patterns around on the cards.

This a Sandie and Ellen working so hard-I gave Ellen such a bad time--I hope she comes back! She is a great cardmaker and a perfectionist!!!

This is a picture of some of the gals--check out the table! When we started at 9:30 everyone was so chatty-at least 2 conversations going at the same time. By mid-morning-one conversation and then silence! Everyone was getting tired by the time the 20th card came! I kept busy fighting with the Black Ink Pad and clearing the table after the projects! We have so much fun and it is a great way to get to know each other! It sure was nice to replenish my stock of birthday cards! Today I spent a great day with Geraldine trying to repair a knitting machine! I am not sure what we accomplished but we did have a wonderful lunch and a great get together. Hopefully, we have it figured out! I am even getting my knitting machine out tonite--first time in 13 years!!! Tomorrow my friend, Alma, and I are going to the Quilt Trunk Show at the Stock Show! So many things to do and see!!!

Jackpot Petal Card

I was rummaging through the candy section in Boyd's Drug Mart today for some candy for a Club Project and ran across these Double Crisp Chocolate Bars. I bought them as I thought I could come up with some projects with the new Jackpot DSP.

This is one of the projects I made tonight. I used the Petal Card Die with the Big Shot and added some Red Grosgrain ribbon and a tag from the Love You stamp set. These would be cute at a card party to draw for tables and then they could enjoy the chocolate also.

Polka Dot Punches

It is still cold and snowing out! And we could still have two more months of this weather! I guess we can get a lot done inside--hopefully, next week starts my picture sorting marathon! I have been having so much fun with this Polka Dot Punches set. I don't have the Large Heart Punch yet (but after this card I will be purchasing it) so I had to cut the hearts out by hand. I love those three colors together and the DSP that matches on this 4 x 8 card.

A Little Yummy

This would be a very easy Valentine for your "honey" or any male. I used the Big Shot to make the Petal Card and added a Ghirardelli in the middle. I stamped "A Little Yummy for your tummy" on white card stock from the Yummy Sale-a-bration set. The white was mounted on Always Artichoke card stock. I also added some hearts from the 3 Heart Punch.

Supply List Change

I just added a text list of the supplies for the new Idea Book and Catalog. This is a much shorter list and does not include the pictures just the text so will be much easier and shorter to copy. Just click on the words "Its Time to Celebrate" .Hope this works for you.

Polka Dot Punches Set

I am back again! Our trip to Denver was great except for the trip back was very slippery. I have never seen so many cars tipped upside down in one place as I did between Ft. Collins and Cheyenne--it was ugly! My knee is doing great and the Dr. said it is about 30% heeled so I was happy about that! It just seems like it gets better everyday. The card today uses 4 of the 6 Sale-a-bration items--Polka Dot Punches, Delicate Dots DSP and Congrats stamp set, and Certainly Celery poly-twill ribbon from the Ribbon Bundle. Have a great Sunday!

Spring-Summer Catalog Supply List

If you have been viewing your new catalog you have probably noticed that there is not a supply list at the end of the catalog anymore. Stampin' Up! has removed the list so they could add more samples in the catalog. On my sidebar I have a card of a pink flower. Just click on the card and you will be able to view the supply list.

Love Note

I was inspired by Linda Heller's Love Note www.lindastamps.wordpress.com. I changed some parts of the Note but this is what it looks like when it is unfolded.

This is made with a piece of 3 x 12 Pink Pirouette card stock, Love Ya Stamp Set, and Candy Lane DSP and 3 Heart Punch (which is on special until January 31st.

I also used the Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon.

This is what the Love Note looks like when it is closed with the the Pink Pirouette Ribbon.

Last Day

Just a reminder that today, Sunday, is the last day to order from the Fall/Winter Stampin' Up! Idea Catalog. You may begin ordering from the new Spring/Summer Catalog tomorrow, Monday, at noon (MST). Also, remember if you order online beginning February 1st-April 30th or the first 22,000 customers will get a free Idea Book. You can order directly from Stampin' Up! but the prices are higher than ordering directly from a demonstrator. Bloomin' Stamp Set

This card was made from the Bloomin' Stamp set and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug template. I also added a Rub On and some black ribbon. Remember, Sunday is the last day you can order from the current Idea Book. Beginning on Monday at noon you can begin ordering from the new Spring Catalog. Hopefully, my catalogs will all be in soon! Valentine Box & Chocolates

This is the Box Pattern that I purchased from Becky Rogers at http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com. It was a very easy box to make and the directions and pictures are excellent. You can make as many dividers in the inside as you would like.

I used Candy Lane DSP, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette card stock. The dividers are made with Vanilla card stock. I made some little Top Note cards from the Big Shot and added some Candy and Mints on one side.

This little box was made from a transparancy, DSP, and card stock. I added a little Pink Ribbon on the top and of course some chocolates. You could make this little box by itself and just put on a co-workers desk, etc.

My Stamp Room

This vinyl frame is from my sister for Christmas. It is an Uppercase Living image. She gave me this frame and I can also exchange the plastic frame it came with --Family or Faith.

This is another image that I got from her which is in black vinyl on my silver wall. This was difficult to put up as my walls are very textured.

Creativity is on another wall above my paper stands. Now you will be able to customize Stampin' Up! Decor Elements in different colors. They have some images in their new catalog but will also have a separate brochure (Phase 3) coming out soon! This image went on much easier than the other wall.

Same Design Birthday Cards

I guess I got so busy cutting paper for my Birthday Class that I forgot to post yesterday. I also had another conflict-the catalogs came in! Yes, I said it--the new beautiful Spring-Summer Catalogs have arrived. I have not got them all in yet but hopefully shortly they will all be in! The orders are not coming in very fast though! I would imagine that most will be out this week due to the new catalog orders coming next Tuesday! I don't think Stampin' Up! expected such a large ordering at the end as they are so back ordered--which is good! It was stated that 2009 was going to be the biggest Craft Year of all Years--so we will see!

These are a couple of birthday cards using the same set as the last post only using different colors-Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red and different Designer Papers. Remember, that Monday is the last day you can order any of the DSP that are in the catalog. There is a list below this post of all of the accessories that are being discontinued. I will say that the new DSP are awesome! Have a great day and enjoy the SNOW, again!

Birthday Cards

This is a couple of birthday cards that I made this last weekend from the Birthday stamp set and Baja Breeze card stock. I used Kraft card stock as the main part of the card.

This card uses the new Birthday DSP that will be coming out in the new catalog. I think my catalogs will arrive tomorrow if they come as scheduled. We had a great time today at Club-a lot of laughter again on the cold and snowy day! I think it may warm up tomorrow!

Owl Baja Breeze Card

I was inspired by this card by Mary Fish. She had made the card in Kiwi so I decided to try the Baja Breeze DSP. The owl and the Happy Birthday is from the new rub ons that will be coming out in the new catalog next week. I used the 3 flower punch for the Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip Flowers and added a brad in the middle.

Male Birthday Cards

I made a couple of male Birthday cards tonight as I always seem to be out of these type of cards. The DSP is Prestwick which is being discontinued. I used Garden Green and Night of Navy ink and card stock. In the top photo I also used 3 Jumbo Brads and used the Bronco stamp set which also will only be in stock until the 18th.

This stamp set is the Outlined Set which has several different messages in it. I also added 3 of the silver brads and sponged around the outside to make it a little softer. If you look closely these are the same layouts with just different papers and stamp images. Have a great weekend! I hope it warms up and the wind quits blowing!

Stamp Club Gals

These are some pictures of my great gals at Stamp Club. They are working so hard and are great listeners. We were having fun making a Valentine Card.

Concentrating and sharing!

We meet once a month and make 3 projects at each club meeting. The gals take turns being hostesses so they can receive the free merchandise and free Level Sets. I always learn something new each month from each group! A great time to get to know your customers!!!

Spring Catalog

This is a few of the new stamp sets that will be in our new catalog. Some of these are level sets and others are sets that you can actually purchase.

This has been a fun set. It's a Loop Thing and it is a Level III stamp set that also comes with the rub ons that are shown and some DSP. It is a fun set to play with.

This set if Petal Pizzazz and will be great for Spring stamping.

This is the fun rub on set-note the owl. The catalog has been shown at Leadership and has been reported to have lots of owls and birds--also coffee. Everyone that has seen it has been oohing and owing over it-Lots and lots of new accessories to use with the Big Shot or Cuttlebug--even some Canvas! The new catalog will be online on January 19th or you can get a new catalog from me! Can't wait!

Icicles

I saw a card on Splitcoasters with icicles and tried experimenting with this technique. I made a line of Crystal Effects of 5 1/2 inches on a piece of waxed paper.

Then I added some drippings from the line to make the icicles. Some of them I got a little wide but I think with practice it would get better.

I added some glitter and then shook off the excess. It takes 2-3 hours for this to dry.

After it dried I picked it up from the wax paper and applied it to the card.

This is a 1/2 sheet of Pacific Point card stock. I rolled Snow across the bottom of the card with white ink on the Jumbo Roller. A 2 inch x 5 1/2 inch piece of vellum was added on top of the roller image. Pacific Point ribbon was added on top of the icicle. Two snowflakes were cut from the Big Shot and then I added glitter and put them at the top of the card. Have fun with this technique!!!

Snowman Tic Tac

I received this little Snowman Tic Tac from Nancy. I thought it was so cute that we would have to make it in Club this month.

I did the Tic Tac cover again using Stampin' Up!s Jolliest Time of the Year stamp set. You punch the 3/4 inch circle so you can see the Tic Tacs.

On the inside I glued a box of Tic Tacs with the saying Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! I used a 16 inch piece of white Grosgrain ribbon and tied it around the blue card stock! These would make nice little cute gifts!

New Hardware

Here is a sneak peak of some new Hardware that will be in the Spring Catalog. They will be fun to work with. I will try and get a project done with them. Today I spent the day outside and then taking down my trees and Christmas decorations. Your house is always so bare when the decorations are put away!
