Still Cleaning Up
Yes, I am still here but have not accomplished much stamping or scrapbooking. We are still cleaning up from our water mess! Yesterday Bud textured the walls and ceiling in the craft room and bathroom and today I got the bathroom painted. We also got the carpet out of the craft room and bedroom. Now we need to set up the beds as my brother and wife are coming for the weekend and Bud's brother is coming for a week. We have decided to carpet the whole basement and the carpet wont be in until the 2nd week in May and the carpet layer wont be able to lay it until the 3rd week in May! We still havent got moved in the bedroom upstairs as the pad is not right that they put in and the carpet still has a stain on it. I doubt that it will come out so then what --I dont know! I am moving everything back in tonite and then will have to move it all out again when the insurance decides what to do. It is so nerve wracking! I tried making a card today for a shower tomorrow between paint coats but it was a disaster as I couldnt find anything-the card is not cool! It is getting better and hopefully by Friday night we will be able to get through the house again! Keep watching as I may surprise you with a post!

Die Cut Blossoms
This card was made with the Die-cut Blooms that are in the Occasions Mini. I also used the Wild Wasabi card stock special (16 pre-cut sheets for $3.95) from Stampin' Up! The message is from the Curvy Verses stamp set and I also added some Striped Grosgrain Pumpkin Pie Ribbon. This was a very quick and easy card to make!

Water in Stamp Room
As you can see I havent posted for awhile. We have had some water overflow from the upstairs to the basement. Today the adjuster and steamers came out and pulled our carpet and sheet rock out. We have to let it dry for 3 days before we can put carpet in. Guess where it is? One of the rooms is my stamp room so I cant even get in there let alone stamp. I will get back as soon as I can start stamping again! It is also snowing out and of course now the rest of the cows have decided to calve. Such a lovely day!!!!!!!

Chunky Glitter
This card is made with the new Chunky Glitter and the Sticky Cut Letters. Forever In My Heart is the stamp set that was used with Real Red ink. I layered white card stock on Real Red and also added red and white striped grosgrain ribbon. When I was done layering the card stock I sponged around the edges with Real Red ink.

Spring Flower Page
This is the page we did last night at our Scrapbook Club. It is nice and bright for a delightful Spring page. Materials used: 12 x 12 white card stock, Real Red, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive strips of 12 x 1 or 12 x 12. Then I just used Die-cut Blooms in layers from the Mini catalog to add some embellishments. This is a very simple and quick page.

Tart and Tangy
Happy April Fools Day to everyone! I can't even think of a joke to play on anyone today! This card uses the Tart & Tangy Stamp Set found on page 14 of the Occasions Mini. Such a cute set! I used a 1/2 sheet of Real Red card stock and a 3 x 4 1/4 inch of Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper. If you look closely at the top (very closely) you can see that I used my 3/4 inch square punch and just barely caught the top of the paper so I could put the 5/8 inch Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon through. I also used A Perfect Day Rub On (Happy Birthday) from the new Mini catalog. An apple from Tart & Tangy stamp set was stamped with Real Red ink on white card stock and mounted on a Regal Rose scallop. So quick and easy!
