Rosette Tag

We made this tag at club this month by punching out the tag with the Big Shot and then adding a rosette , scalloped punch, whit circle punch, and a button. The thread was made from thin cs. It seemed to work best if you scored the rosette every 1/4 of an inch.
Had a great time at Free Stamping today! Really felt good about it and got several projects accomplished by customers and demonstrators! Fun day! We also had a great downline meeting this morning and saw lots of fun show and tell! Tonight I went to the Broadway Play "Fiddler on the Roof" and it was excellent-had a busy day!!

Inspired by Nature Card

This card uses the Faux Tile Technique that I saw when I was blog hopping one day! I will give credit to you if you recognize the card! It would also make a very nice sympathy card. I used 4 x 5 Vanilla cs and scored it every 1/2 inch horizontally and vertically. Then stamped the En Francais stamp very lightly with Crumb Cake ink. Then I stamped the flower with Expresso, let dry and covered with Versa Mark, Clear Embossing Powder and then heated it. Add a piece of Expresso cs and mount on Vanilla cs. Then I added a banner and some pearls. A fun card to make!
Enjoy your day! I will be attending the Shopping Suite at the Comfort Inn on Elk Vale Road from 4pm to 9pm today. Lots of vendors! Stop in and see me!!!

Fall Tree Card

Shirrise inspired me to make this card for our club. It was a fun card to make with the triple punch and then use the left overs for the leaves on the ground. We used the oval punch to punch out the tree trunks and used some Bakers Twine, and paper tore the striped paper. We used Olive cs for the base and Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron for the trees.
I hope you are enjoying your day! I am on my way to Woman's Network and then to run some errands!
Remember, the Big Shot offer ends on Friday, November 11th! Congratulations to Carol and Jayne for joining our team!!!

Rosette Scrapbook Page

This is a scrapbook page 12 x 12 that we made this month in club. I made the rosettes scoring at 1/2 inch but we decided it was too thick for a scrapbook page so the club members scored a DSP 1 x 12 on every 1/4 inch. If you make a punched out circle and add some glue and then stick the rosette to it this is much easier to do. Theresa had a lot of good tips for us to used.
materials:
12 x 12 Pool Party cs
2 dsp 1 x 12
2 large buttons
2 scallops from Pool Party cs
A strip of vanilla cs
A strip of soft suede cs

Candy Wrapper

This is another cute idea for tricks and treaters. Just take a candy bar and wrap DSP around it. You will want to put adhesive on 3 sides. After you stick the sides and top together take a brayer and use it on both ends. Add some ribbon and a little spider!!!
It got just a little cool here today! Rain but not snow! I just booked a week in Nov-Dec for AZ--to visit my daughter! Should be fun! Vegas here we come!

Christmas Coffee Boxes

I made these boxes for some coffee that I will give as gifts. These are the little Kraft Gift Boxesin the Holiday Mini (124106 for $2.95 for 4 boxes). I just put DSP on the sides and top of the box, added some ribbon and added a Stitched Felt (#124108-$9.95 for 16 pieces). So easy. Inside I have 4 Maxwell Coffee containers--I think 16 come in a box. Just cute and inexpensive to make! I hope you have a wonderful fall day! I am going to finish taking my garden down and digging up onions, potatoes and parsnips and hauling my pumpkins out! I also will need to get some stamping in as we have the Hospital Bazaar on Monday!!!

Spider at the Irelands

I will try and get a better picture from the front but this is a little Halloween creativity my husband and I made over the weekend. We put the spider along I-90 so travelers can have something to chuckle about as they pass through. My husband got a haybale and I just sprayed the face on the front of the bale and then he got some PVC pipe and couplets to make the legs. For the antenna we just added PVC pipe and then I spray painted some cans and added it to the pipe. I guess one never gets too old to celebrate the holidays and have a little fun!

Turn DSP and cut on every 4 inches

You now have your card

Fold your right down from top to bottom of middle line

Fold your left side down from top to bottm of middle line

Turn your paper so bottom is at top and do the same thing again.

Now you should have 2 diamonds on the back. Fold down the middle of each diamond.
