It has been so cold here as it is all over the US. We were -14 yesterday with out the wind chill and everything was shut down so I spent the day doing bookwork-taxes for 2013. I got 2 sets done and now just have to finish stamping today. My goal is to get them all done before leaving for Leadership on Wednesday-bright and early! So looking forward to getting to someplace a little warmer although I heard it is raining in Houston. Have a great day!

Gold is In

I don't know

if you can see the second layer on this card but it says Happy Anniversary in gold embossing on a piece of gold card stock. I have a layer of gold card stock and then a white card adhesive onto the gold. I added 6 strips of the new gold Washi tape and then the label with Happy Anniversary embossed on it. My next layer is the new gold hearts on vellum that will be available to order tomorrow in the new Occasions Mini catalog.

Cutest Baby

 A fun

and easy baby card to make. I used the new DSP and

the fun stamp set "Label Love" in the main catalog. Also, it has a punch to cut out the saying. How cool!!! Hope you are enjoying this cold weather. We should be getting used to it.

More Western Cards

 

This

card uses the Last Frontier stamp set along with the new Hardwood Background stamp, Apothecary Accents Frame Lits and Love &Sympathy set.

I also used

the Hardwood background set with this pair of boots. I have had these stamp sets for many years which is a pair of boots, an old hat, and a mare with her colt. My family loves these stamps so I have used them a lot to make them card sets and just cards for our friends. It is very difficult to find really good western stamps so when I find them they stay with me. I was so happy to see the new Hardwood background stamp.

Well, I am ready for Christmas except to send a few more cards out. I got my house cleaned today and the menu ready for tomorrow night so we should be ready to go with Oyster Stew and Potato Soup. May you have a Blessed Christmas!!!

Here

are a couple more cards that I made with the new Hardwood Stamp background that will be coming out in the New Occasions Mini catalog in January. I also used the burlap ribbon and some dots.

card was made very similar but with the boot stamp.

I hope you are getting ready for Christmas and about done. I am going out shopping one more time this evening and then I will be done and have most of the packages delivered. My aunt loved her cards that I delivered to her yesterday!! Have a great evening.

Christmas Cards

great gift for Christmas!! I made 21 cards and put them together with a piece of twine for my Aunt for Christmas!

also added a box of thank you cards and a bag of cards that I made. The bag is made from Stampin' Up! fabric.  Great ideas for gifts that don't cost a lot but everyone loves to get cards.  Have a great evening!

Still 10 below here! Way to cold!!! We had our annual Lions Club supper last night and we had a tremendous meal! Then we had a white elephant gift exchange!! A lot of laughter!!!

card we made in our club last month!! Love this Santa. Just used some DSP and Santa Stamp and added Holly Jolly Christmas from Tags 4 You and some Cherry Cobbler ribbon. Fun card!

It is very cold again here this morning! Will we ever be done with winter? Heading to the Ag Banquet tonight and then off for 10 days watching the NFR. Should be great this year!!

gotta love this grunge looking card!! We are getting hit with a winter storm again! This is an ugly winter. Wind, snow and ice!! I think the cattle and ranchers are better prepared this time around!

Seasons Greetings

Where

oh, where have I been? It has been a very crazy week. Yesterday was spent with many customers trying to get the last minute sales and some very good ones at that. Also, spent the weekend baking cookies and candy with my daughter, cutting down a Christmas tree, making MDS projects and more MDS projects, attending Christmas functions and now the weather is moving in so will slow us all down. It has been a very busy week! Today was our Red Hat luncheon and it was great! Last night we had our Auxillary Dinner and party so this is the week for parties. I did get our tree up today and it is so beautiful! I will have to take a picture and post it. This is a beautiful card that Shelle made! Hope you are having a great week!

Beautiful Snowflake Bag

beautiful bag was made by Shawna with the silver ribbon! How beautiful and then just added to a white bag! Gorgeous! I have been working all afternoon on MDS calendars! I worked with the MDS techs and they helped clean up my computer as I think my computer is about to go!! I love this desk top so hard to give it up!!! One more calendar to go tonight and then 1 more on Friday and will be done with my printing for Christmas. Unless of course I decide to make something else!!! 30% off on printing is a great gift for making Christmas gifts. Then of course if you are a demonstrator you will get at least another 20% off so it has been grand!!! This offer is good until Sunday night!!!
