Dining on the Cruise

This is one of my table mates for our Cruise, Heather Summers! She is a fantastic person and so very positive! We really enjoyed having her and Mark at our table.

This is my husband, Bud, and I enjoying a meal at the Trellis Restaurant on our Cruise. The food was always so good and challenging to choose among so many items. Hope you have a great day! Now that the weedwacking is all done I may start in mowing again although we got another half inch last night. So much moisture!!! I am still working on my photo album of the Cruise. I hope to get it finished this week. I am having some MDS classes this month so be sure and check my SU website for all of my classes and also at the end of the month for my Stamp-A-Stack. Have fun!

Bliss Scrapbook Page & Quail

This is the scrapbook page our club did this month using the Fun Flowers Die and the Large Scallop Die along with Garden Green and Navy card stock. A fun page to make.

This is one of our menus from Cruise where I got brave and ordered Quail. Actually, it was very good and tasted much like chicken.

This is the awesome bag we received at Convention from Stampin' Up! I used it everyday on the Cruise-so light and nice! A very special gift! I'm off to tear out a fence and then to deliver SU and pick up prizes for our Futurities! Have a great day! Kind of dreary here as it cant decide to rain or not!

This is a picture of the Stealth Bomber that went over our house last Saturday as they were having the Air Show at Ellsworth Air Force Base. The first time it went over our house it seemed like it was right over our head and the second time it was further in the air! It was really neat to see so close!

This card we made at Erika's stamping stack class and then I made it one of my clubs this week. So cute but quick and easy with the new White Cord.

This card we used the clear embossing powder and the versa mark on the butterflies. I used the Neutrals Designer Buttons, Flower Fest stamp set, Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake, Basic Gray, and Foft Suede Card Stock. All of these supplies can be ordered on my Online Store. Just click the button on the sidebar and it will take you directly to the Online Store and then the products will be delivered directly to your door! How easy is that? Hope you have a great evening!!!

50th Anniversary Cards

This is a couple of 50th Anniversary Cards I made this last weekend for friends. I used the Fun Flower Die Cut with gold metallic card stock and put an antique brad in each one. On the top card I used gold cord and on the bottom card I used white ribbon.

I also embossed both of the cards using different embossing folders. I hope you are having a great day! I am actually having a very progressive day-got my weed wacking done in the tree patches and my flyers are ready for my MDS class and Stamp A Stack Class. Be watching for these!

Trading Post Cards

These are 3 more cards that were on display in the Trading Post on the Cruise!

The demonstrator used "Travel Log" stamp set on this card. The spiral punch is retiring the end of June.

This card would be great for Father's Day using the "Best Dad Ever" stamp set and neutral colors for the front of the card. I am having Club today so it has been a busy and hot day! Enjoy the sunshine!!!

Cards from the Cruise & Whale Watching

This picture I got one afternoon on the cruise when Bud & I were Whale Watching! I finally got a picture when it was spouting! They were way cool! That afternoon we got to see quite a few but was hard to watch and get pictures as it happens so fast!

This card was made with the stamp set "Sail Away" and was on the display board in the SU Trading Post.

This card used "The Open Sea" stamp set and was also on the display boards.

Hope you had a great day! A lot of activity going on at our house today! I did get all of my pictures edited tonight and ready for club tomorrow.

Beautiful Flowers in Victoria

This is another card that I took a picture of in the Stampin' Up! Trading Post--Love those punches!!!

After we landed in Victoria, Bud and I took off walking for about 3 miles and walked into a beautiful garden that Rhonda and her husband had told us about! The flowers were just gorgeous! It wasnt the main garden in Victoria but was a City Park!

Here is another bunch of flowers in the same park!

This picture was taken of a neighborhood yard! The yards were just full of beautiful flowers! We are on our way to two 50th Anniversary Parties tonight! Have a great evening!!

More Alaska Pictures

Here are a few more pictures from our Alaskan Cruise. I got this plane just as it was coming in for landing on the water.

This picture was taken up on the White Pass while we were on our train ride.

Spent most of the day outside again mowing, planting more trees, and pulling weeds. I did get to make a couple of graduation cards so now I am caught up on my cards except for a bunch of thank you cards to make. Last night I attended a Stamp-A-Stack from my downlines and they did a fabulous job especially for their very first class! Congratulations Erika and Kathleen!

Last Day

Today is the last day to have your MDS projects printed at 30% off. It is a great deal! Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1st starts the Last Chance List! Also, the next catalog will also have all of the Definitely Decorative items in it and the number of items will be less so tomorrow they will be listing the DD items that will be retiring and this will be the last chance to get these items. Alot of new announcements will be made with SU in the next month so stay tuned to hear all of them.

These are cards that were on display in the Stampin' Up! Trading Post on the ship during the Alaskan Cruise. I cannot give credit to anyone as we were unable to see the names of the demos. They were all beautiful cards! Everyday on ship they had the Trading Post open and we were able to claim our pillow gift, see new products, and demo cards and also Spin the Wheel and get prizes. Some of the prizes I won were Subtle Card Stock, Notes from DD, frames, brads, ribbon and then we would spin for the choice of new photo album.

This is another card on display that is made with the new 3 step punch! Gorgeous card!Well, off to mowing! It does look like a jungle but today the sun is shining so maybe we can make some progress with the mowing today. Yesterday I did get my flowers in and helped the girls with theirs, planted 50 trees and pulled weeds in rock gardens. I still dont have my garden planted but hopefully it will dry a little today so can get in there. I kept getting stuck yesterday just planting trees. My heart goes out to all of the people in Pierre (easten South Dakota) that are losing their homes to so much water. I have been through a flood and it is not fun!!! Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine!

Alaska & Tracy Arm

Here we are in Seattle before our ship took off! We were on the Celebrity Infinity and on the 7th floor. Our hotel was right across the street so it was very convenient to load our luggage.

This picture is of the Glacier in the Tracy Arm Fiord in Juneau, Alaska! This part of Alaska was breath taking! We watched the small ice floating in the water for a ways and then moved very slowly up towards the glacier in a very small area and yet the ship was able to turn around. It was so quiet and the ship moved so slowly up towards the glacier. We were on the top deck so it was also very cool up there. So glad we had our heavy winter coats, hats, and gloves.

I snapped this picture around 5:30 in the morning as we were just coming into Seattle on our last day! We had a balcony off of our stateroom so it was so much fun to sit out there and watch the water and also see many of the beautiful sights early in the morning and late at night. We are still trying to catch up on sleep and get back to normal.

Have a great weekend!

Alaska and Home

We are home from the Stampin' Up! Alaskan Cruise! Wow! What a trip! Stampin' Up! really gave us all a wonderful trip-hands down! Wow! We were treated like Kings and Queens! I made this title page to my Alaskan MDS book today while traveling to Gillette to watch a barrel race. I have been gone most of the month of May as you can see by my blog. I was in Arizona for a week and then had a family wedding and company at my house for a week and then left for Alaska on the 19th and returned last night around 10 pm. It has been a whirlwind month but a fantastic month of meeting so many new people and friends! I do have my laundry washed but oh my what a batch of ironing to do! We also had a lot of rain while we were away so the grass is very high. I am thankful that my daughters must have been able to mow the front lawn but the rest is very high! The garden also needs to get in along with some flowers and trees but has been very cool here so not in a great hurry! Also, so many new ideas with cards and scrapbooking and My Digital Studio! Just a reminder that SU has a sale on all books, cards, and scrapbooks until the last day of the month--that would be Tuesday and 30% off on all printing! Yikes, I am going to have to be burning the midnight oil! I will be sharing many ideas and pictures of Alaska as the week goes by!

New Families

These are our new additions to our place. This little stud colt was born yesterday!

This little stud colt was born on Sunday afternoon. They are all so cute on their little wobbly legs.

"Lenny" is a little dun stud colt that was born a couple of weeks ago. We are off of mare watch now! Yipee! So far they are all doing well!

Top Note Bunny

This is a scrapbook page that I had partially cased from someone (let me know who) and we made it at club this month for Easter photos. For the bunny we used the Top Note Die and then used all punches for the flowers, and bunny! I used Bashful Blue 12 x 12 cs and Pretty In Pink 11 x 11 and then used some Wasabi for the grass and just fringed the top! Fun page to do!
I am back now and for a few days and will put some pictures of our new foals-I have been mare watching for the last few weeks and we have also had a house full of company since I got back from AZ so has been quite hectic around our house. We finally got all of our livestock out to summer pasture so is looking much better. I even had my sister, niece, and sister-in-law out cleaning horse pens this week and my brother mowed my lawn (He actually had never driven a "zero radius" lawn mower before so was in heaven)--so nice for all the help! Love it when my family comes but just wish we didnt always have so much to do but I kind of think they enjoy getting out also.
Have a great day!
