MDS Wedding Album

These are some of the pages that I have been working on for my niece's wedding MDS Photo Album. I really did spend a lot of time as I couldnt get my creative juices rolling! It was fun and I learned a lot by making this album. This page was from the Rehersal Dinner in September in Georgia. I used the new paper from the Download Luxury. So many beautiful papers in this download.
This page used the identical DSP and then I added the Tag Punch and rotated my writing and the tag.

This DSP is from Sweet Pea and I just wrote with Vanilla and a font for the first page in the book. I think I made about 36 pages so I did end up cutting about 7 pages off. I had over 600 pictures to work with so it took a long time to decide what and where to put the pictures. I do hope she enjoys looking at it!!!
We have most of the interstate closed in South Dakota tonight so will be a pretty quiet New Years Eve. I think I will continue to work on books.Ugh!!! It does have to be done and what a better time then a cold blizzardy night! Happy New Year and may you have a Happy and Blessed 2011!

November and December Calendar Page

This is the November calendar page I made for Lana's 2011 calendar. I used the Autumn DSP found in the Holiday Mini. This is a download for the My Digital Studio. You can also purchase this DSP from the Holiday Mini but January 3rd is the last day to purchase this paper.

I used the Candy Cane striped paper on this calendar page along with a wreath on the side. The bottom of the page looks just like the top. I changed the color of the wreath by just clicking on the Wreath and then on the side click on change color. This is the same background as Tuesday's page but just added more pictures and another stamp image so you can have a total new look. Enjoy your day!!!! We are suppose to get 12-18 inches of new snow over the next couple of days! So fun!!!

Beautiful Flowers

I just got the most beautiful bouquet of tulips from my daughter for Christmas. They were suppose to arrive on Christmas Eve but didn't get here until Monday. I guess they were lost somewhere in Kentucky. They are pretty!

Another Calendar Page

This is the December 2011 calendar page I made. This picture was taken at the National Finals Rodeo and I put it on a 12 x 12 calendar page. I like my photos to be large so I just added the Candy Cane DSP (I think that is what it is called) and also some strips from the kit. I also made the bottom of the calendar in stripes so it matches the top! These are so much fun to make!

My Digital Studio Calendar Pages

I have been busy making Christmas presents with My Digital Studio and still trying to get a wedding book done for my niece since September. This page comes from Kami's 2011 September calendar page. I had so much fun making these calendars. I even made my dad one in an afternoon. It was real simple but he will be able to see it and read it as I made the pictures big in an 8 1/2 x 11 calendar. I also made several journals and some Christmas cards which I havent got back yet so they will be more like New Year's Cards. I used the Night and Day Background DSP and the large star punch and matted it in red to make it stand out a little. My husband carved "5 State" in this log and we used it for a saddle rack for the 5-State Barrel Racing Futurity. I have all of the calendars made except for mine so maybe I should start making 2012 calendars so I would be ready for Christmas next year. I hope you have a great evening and will try and post some more pages tomorrow.

More Customer Cards

This is a card I received from Sarah that has the stained glass technique and she also used the ornament punch to make it look 3-D.
Donna made this cute Snowman Card! Just love snowmen!

Peggy made this card using the tin with the Big Shot and the layered ribbon. Cute card, Peggy!

Customer Christmas Cards

These are a couple of the Christmas Cards that I have received from my Club Members. Lisa made the one on the top and Patti colored the one on the bottom! Very cool cards!

I am a consultant for 31 Bags now. If you would like a catalog please email me and I will send you one. You can also go to my 31 Bag Website (click on the picture on the right sidebar) and check out all the bags that they are offering. You can order them with or without embroidering!

Stampin' Up! Fabric Runner

This is a darling fabric runner that Sherry, my sister, made from the Stampin' Up! Fabric! As you can see it took 29 squares of fabric in which the squares are made just like the purses we were making. She put 3 squares together then 4 and then 3 rows of 5 and back to 4 then 3 and sewed them together! Doesn't it look darling with the Santa and Golden Canyon Candle? Soooooooo cute!

Vacation and Downtime

I have been in Arizona visiting my daughter but have actually got some MDS work done also. Yesterday we visited the Grand Canyon and then went to Sedona. What breath-taking places! I have never been there so it was great to see. Then we went to Sedona and saw the beautiful shops and had so much fun shopping. (I hope I can get everything home in my suitcase) I have been working on my MDS during the day when Lana is working when I am not out feeding horses and picking pens. It is so beautiful here-have had so much nice weather! I even took the time to sit on the porch and drink a cup of coffee-so relaxing! I did get my Christmas cards made, 2 journals and a calendar. Now to get 1 more calendar and a book made before Christmas! What a challenge! Why do I leave everything to the last minute? I hope you had a wonderful day!!

DD Mugs

I gave these mugs to all of my club members for Christmas. I just bought a white mug and then used the DD Christmas patterns and put them on each mug! Very easy to do! I would wash these by hand and not put in the dishwasher!
I have been away from my blog for awhile as I have been working lots of hours at the Boy's Club making wreaths. Hopefully, we are getting caught up so will be back to normal pretty soon! I did have 2 great clubs this week! Always enjoy our club time together! Have a great day!
