Flower Box

I made this little 4th of July decoration for a little party we are having this weekend. I used the gingham paper from the Bar-B-Q set from Country Living that Stampin' Up! had last summer. You can make several at one time.

Then I cut out Real Red boxes with the Big Shot and then adhesived the gingham paper onto the red card stock just leaving a little ridge at the top of the box.

I folded and adhesived the box together with sticky tape and then added some tissue paper. I also cut over several flowers with the Big Shot and put them together and added a button in the middle with glue dots. The dowel from the kit was put between the 2 sets of flowers with the large glue dots and then I put a large glue dot on the bottomof the dowel to make it stick to the bottom of the box. This will make a cute table decoration. I am also adding a letter on the front of the box. I made 2 red ones and 2 blue ones.

Purse and cards

I have been gone for awhile just trying to catch up on things around our place which I dont think will ever happen. We just keep getting more rain and the weeds keep growing. I have also been playing "gopher" in the hayfield so my stamping has gone to the wayside. We just got a new computer and laptop so we hope we got everything running again. Hopefully, things will slow down a little. We made this purse and 4 cards in our purse class last week. What a fun project--all of our wheels are spinning with more ideas! I got this pattern from Becky at Inkin' Idaho and Lori H. gave me the Hawaiian idea for the purse and cards and the sunglass pattern. What a cute summer project!!!! The purses take awhile to make but they are well worth it.
Be sure you have everything that you want from the present catalog as there is only 4 days left to order and then we will be on to the new catalog-you will love it! Have a great day and I will be back tomorrow with some 4th of July decorations.

My First Calendar

Here are some pages I made for my first calendar. I experimented with all types of ideas. On the anniversary page I used one of Stampin' Up! templates and also for the May calendar with the grocery shoppping. On the 2nd page I used "Custom" for the background paper and you could also put pictures on top of this photo. I also made the bottom part of the calendar to match the top part.

This is the cover of my calendar! It was so much fun to make! Now I am in the process of making 2 books with the MDS. This is an incredible program!

Hawaiian Card

This card was made my Sherry and inspired by Heather. We made this card at our June clubs. We used the Big Shot to make all of the flowers and then ran the Tempting Turquoise through the Embossing Folder. We stamped the branches from the new Hawaiian stamp set and added some raffia around the corners of the Rose Red card stock.
