Fall Leaf Card

This card was made by taking the More Mustard pad and rubbing it over a piece of vellum. Then you rub the Pumpkin Pie over that and then Real Red. After you get all 3 colors on you take a stamp image and just stamp on the wet ink. Each time you stamp be sure and wipe off at your stamp. You can let it air dry or use a heat gun! You cannot see the stamp imprints on this card. I stamped the leaf in Pumpkin Pie and then sponged around the edges with my daubers with Real Red. The White card stock is mounted on Pumpkin Pie and then mounted on the vellum which has been mounted on More Mustard. I tied my Red Grosgrain ribbon under the white card stock. The stamp set Best Yet was used to stamp on the white card stock. You could also sponge around the edges.

Last Halloween Card

This is the last Halloween Card that I will be posting for the Year! This cute card was made by Rachel Taasaas at the Sioux Falls Regionals. Love the layout!!!

Christmas Cards with Photos

Here are some more cards from Regionals--Sandy Rudbaker (hopefully I have the name spelled correctly) from Canton demonstrated these cards. You can use these cards with photos for Christmas. She used Heat and stick powder. She said to heat until it "stinks" and then add chunky glitter and heat again. Tomorrow I will try and load the rest of the Club cards! Enjoy and thank you for looking!

Top Note Scrapbook Page

This is a Scrapbook page we are doing in our clubs this month. I used Sage Shadow for the Top Notes (3) and used the Jumbo Brads and Brown Wide Grosgrain Ribbon. The 12 x 12 is More Mustard with a Real Rust strip along the side with the new Fall paper in the Holiday Mini on top of the Rust. You could do your journaling on the Top Notes and then add 3 pictures along the sides. This would make a nice picture for Halloween, Fall or Thanksgiving. It is a beautiful day outside. Let's enjoy it while we still can!

It was a long day today!!! The hospital bazaar was from 7-5 and then we had a Banquet tonight. It was a very interesting Bazaar. I can not believe how many stampers there are in Rapid City that I never knew! Wow! I met a lot of new people! I will do some more posting tomorrow as I am beat!

Cocoa Christmas Idea

This is a cute idea that I saw on Kimberly V's blog but I recreated it a little. I used Riding Hood Red card stock 3 1/4 x 12, Close to Cocoa Top Note, and the lovely new Christmas Ribbon in the Mini catalog. I cut an oval about where the Supreme Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix label is. You can buy these packets in Walmart. The words are from the Christmas Rub Ons which will be going on sale in November--buy $20 worth of merchandise and get 20% off of the rub ons. I also put some of the rub ons above the oval. Have a great week! I will be starting early at the Hospital Bazaar tomorrow--goes from 7 am to 5 pm. A big day! Enjoy!

Diaper Pixie Stix Bat Treats

This is my Creativity for the day! I decided I
needed to have a few treats for the Bazaar tomorrow so I would be sure to sell something. I started messing around in my stamp room and this is what I came up with. I made a small diaper card (6 x 6) and then added a couple of pixie stix with scallops and bats. Also had to add some confetti and some candy! This is a basket of some of them.

I

I put some googly eyes on these instead of the 1 1/4 punch images. I have a few more treats that I will post before the night is over.

Big Shot Envelope Boxes

Oh, my gosh, here are some more REAL COOL ideas from Regionals. Yesterday I had my Big Shot Class and we had so much fun experimenting with different textures and dies. Nancy also added a bunch of ideas with the Cuttlebug dies and some new Metal Dies! How fun! These baskets were made by Pat at http://www.patstamps.typepad.com/ in Minnesota. She gives step by step directions on her blog. So Easy to make. She even made her own confetti to put in the bottom of the box and added ribbon on the sides for reinforcement. This box was made with 4 Die Cut Envelopes on the Big Shot and then just glue the tabs together.
This box has a lid which is also made from the Envelope Die. You just make 4 more envelopes and cut them in half. Instructions are on Pat's website. She did a fantastic job at Regionals.

This box was smaller and just made from 2 envelopes.

How cute is this! This is just made from card stock and then she added the new Halloween DSP on the front along with the scallop. What a cool neighbor or luncheon gift. We worked with many materials yesterday just to see what would go through the Big Shot--cork, gasket material (awesome leather looking to go with the Bronco stamp set--amazing what you can find in your husband's shop), crumpled packaging paper, fun foam, chipboard, vinyl, material, etc. Also, if you have any Cuttlebug Dies--they are beautiful in the Big Shot!!! The new Love die is so pretty with the single edges. Nancy figured out a good trick so you do not get the extra line in there. Have a great day and I hope you are enjoying life as much as I am! So much to do!!!

More & More Regional Ideas

Here are some more Regional ideas. I wish I could give credit to whoever made all of these spectacular items! How fun!!! This is made with the Big Shot and Felt--Cute candy corn idea!
The pendant die can be used in so many ways! This would be a good treat for classrooms, hospital patients, etc. All made from felt!!

I just couldn't resist taking a picture of this card! My favorite little kids--an awesome stamp set and you can make boys, girls, etc. The stamp set on the right can be yours FREE in the month of October and November if you have over a $350 or $400 workshop!!!
I finished all of my Card Organizers for the Bazaar yesterday! Yahoo! Now today's project is to clean up the MESS! I can't believe how I can make such a big mess in such a short time. Although, I just got through cleaning up the granery (storage for grains) and that was a disaster! I could put in a full time cleaning lady around this place--not much fun or pay--but it sure makes you feel good when you are done! Have a great day and ENJOY!!!!

Card Project Completed

Finally done!!!! Remember last week when I had all of those DSP swatches--Well, I finally got all 80 plus made into cards!
Here are a couple of ideas with the Bronco Set and the new White Cord! If you click on it you can see how I unraveled the cord!
These cards were made with the Lovely as A Tree Stamp set. I also added the little clips at the top and the card on the left I used the new brown ribbon in the Mini Catalog. Have a great day and thank you for looking!

Carrot Project

This is a creative project that my husband came up with--so clever. Here he is out digging for a carrot to practice on as I had just dug up the carrot below and he came up with this creative project with my daughter.
This is the carrot I dug up to use for some Potato Soup but it didn't get used for it!
He added a number 24 with markers and carved out a golf ball for a helmet! Talk about creativity!!!!!!!!!! Note the football in his hand--a M & M--brown at that! He tried using many things to keep that football in the carrots hands and then came up with the idea of a Stampin' Up! Glue Dot! Those dots will stick to anything!
He gave this to a Veterinarian who is a GREAT Bronco Fan!!! It turned out so good!

A Scalloped Halloween Idea

This is a scrapbook made from Cary (SU) and she is using it to put all kinds of Halloween candy pictures in it. She made this from the Scallop with the Big Shot
This is the new Carousel Note scallop and then add a snowflake in the center. These carousels are found on page 167. They come in 3 colors and sell for 11.95. Cute and quick idea!

Decorating the Offices

Bud and I always make Halloween treats for our girls'offices at the Rehab Hospital and the Vet Clinic. I always have so much fun trying new ideas every year. This year when I was at my sisters we found this recipe for Dirt Cake. What a mess! I had Oreos all over the kitchen before I was done. It did turn out cute with the ghost marshmellows and the gummy worms. I filled up the glass containers with popcorn, m & m's and candy corn. Note the vinyls on the side and the ribbon tied on top.

This vegetable tray was so much fun to make. I had a recipe with bacon and cream cheese, etc. On the outside I added olives for the hair, cucumber nose, pepperonies for the ears, parsnips and olives for the eyes, and a pretzal rod through the middle with a big olive on each side. I added green food coloring to some whipped cream cheese and spread over the dip. A little frosting for the eyes and mouth!!
This is what the table looked like at the Vet Clinic! I also made some Sour Cream containers with candy and some Hot Apple Cider! We always have so much fun delivering the treats and the staff are always so appreciative!!!! After the deliveries I had Club for my Monday group! We always have so much fun laughing and enjoying life! I had so many ideas to share with them from Regionals. Lunch afterwards was such a delight!!!

5 Petal Punch Cards

Here are three cards made by a lovely demonstrator from Iowa. She demonstrated these cards at Regionals in Sioux Falls. They are made from the 5 Petal Punch. You make about 5-7 punches and cut each petal apart and then start building underneath and go in circles around the base. She also used the 3 flower punch for the center. These cards were so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

You can see you can make as many layers as you choose. To make the leaves she just folded a small piece of green in half (maybe 2 inches wide) -ran it through the crimper and then shaped it with her scissors! Awesome!!!

More of Sioux Falls Regionals

The Regional was so much fun! We were both beat by the time we arrived home but it was so worth it! I got to know Jamie better and boy did we ever use the flashlight and pen and paper to make some more great plans for the year!
This is a banner that was made with the Big Shot and Serif Alphabet! Check out those dangly spiders!

The diaper pouch (so easy to make) and the spooky little character made out of punches and the Top Note of the Big Shot! This Halloween paper is so COOL!

This is another diaper made from the new Halloween paper! Such a cool idea to add treats to!

Samples from Regionals

Here are some samples of cards that some of the demonstrators showed at Regionals. Of course, we had to swap cards!!!
